![]() | Canon RF 28-70mm f/2 L USM Pros: All Cons: Weight Opinion: I made the summary in the pros and cons. The qualities of this lens have been said before me! As Checco79 says, the lens is supplied to itself, very true. Soon I will try it at a wedding and I will be able to evaluate its characteristics and potential. But already at home rehearsals and portrait of his wife I can say: she is fantastic! The cost is related to quality and features. If you think of compact, excellent camera bodies, such as the Leica Q2, the 28-70 + R6 costs less and gives greater satisfaction. Then everyone does as they like. sent on January 25, 2023 |
![]() | Canon EF 35mm f/2.0 Pros: Small and light, good quality for those who remember when shooting in analog with film. Excellent color rendering. Cons: For now no one: I use this lens for photos where there is no hurry. In the portraits a little close even at full opening I like it a lot, At a distance a little less. The noise of the Af is part of a dated project. Opinion: Very happy to have this lens. You can't compare it to the new 35L II, but it doesn't disappoint if the copy is still well maintained (I was lucky enough to find one from Foto Dotti) and will always stay with me! With the R6 I have to say that the yield of this 35 has even improved. It arouses curiosity among people who are now used to seeing "bazooca" in front of a camera! sent on March 23, 2021 |
![]() | Canon RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM Pros: Construction, brightness, sharpness and blurry at the top. Always to be used in TA or almost. Cons: price and ... maybe weight, but it keeps well coupled to the R series that have a good handle. Opinion: I haven't taken many shots yet, but I can say: a lens you would never take out of the camera body. It's a show to use. With little light coupled to the R6 he takes photos in "impossible" situations. Even with the R it is super thanks also to the higher resolution. I give Canon credit for making a lens with attributes. I saw the proof of photographer Daniel Etter who with Eos R and RF 50mm f1.2 L photographed the dark and archaic conditions of the Romanian coal mines: well, I tried to simulate those conditions in the house and really the lens impressed me. It's worth all the money spent. sent on March 15, 2021 |

![]() | Canon EOS R6 Pros: AF, speed, holds well in hand, customizable, a smaller 1DX III. Cons: I have not yet found any, although with some updates I find the use very practical, in line with the philosophy of Canon cameras. Opinion: I've had it for a month, I tried it at a snowmobile race and it freaked me out for fast focus, precise with 20 frames per second. I didn't have to retouch the (raw) photos until I took off a thread of lights, the third key under exposure and contrast in Bridge. Tried at home in the dim light of the living room lamp and TV, I made a portrait of my wife with 1/15 f1.2 ISO 800 (RF 50mm): a show! A great compromise between the R5 and 1DX III. and at a lower cost. sent on March 09, 2021 |
![]() | Leica CL Pros: Robust body, massive and compact at the same time. Bright viewfinder. Processing raw files. Ready-made jpeg. Mechanical and electronic shutter. Times up to 1/25000 which with maximum openings allows impossible shots. Value over time, guarantee of reliability. Cons: Cost, but you know what you buy. APS-C, but once you try it you forget, so much so the results look like a full frame. Opinion: I used it with the Summilux 35mm f1.4 and was amazed by the quality! Excellent! Photos of the interior with low f1.4 light with 400 iso and times of 1/30 - 1/25 using the electronic shutter have come out of stratospheric files! It must be tried to believe! It will never get out of the machine body. And it's easy to port. I think of the weight of a full frame body with the fifties! Basically it's a "beautiful toy", from a great pleasure! Sure it costs, but you can find great used and being worth it! Then each one evaluates their needs or, like me and my son, the desire to try the various possibilities that the photographic field proposes. Each of us has our hobbies! A certain fact, irrefutable is the quality of Leica products: from CL to various L and M. A must! sent on June 18, 2020 |
![]() | Canon EF 24mm f/1.4 L II USM Pros: Built well, is comfortably in the hand, secure, solid, sharp, great for all occasions. Cons: Maybe the price, but for quality you can deal with the purchase. Opinion: I use it for a long time every time and allows me to leave the flash at home: do not use it, in fact, since I have this goal. Not to dwell, there are many qualities, I'm just saying the only flaw is NOT HAVE IT! Really fantastic: I use it as a normal, is always mounted in the car. In low light, even indoors, making it a wonder (with the help of the full frame and 21 Mpixel) Luigi aka "diaphragm" sent on March 02, 2012 |
