![]() | Sigma 24-105mm f/4 DG OS HSM Art Pros: Solidity and build quality, sharpness in the center, quality of materials Cons: Weight, not all specimens are the same, brittle lampshed Opinion: Beautiful lens with the right focal range that covers all needs a bit. Good image quality with decent flare resistance and sharpness. Be careful when buying it: trying a couple of them I noticed that not everyone has the same sharpness and some tend to spread the edges. The materials are beautiful and quality and feel (especially from the weight), the lampshed instead is ridiculous and risks splitting even on the stock exchange. sent on February 11, 2021 |
![]() | Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Pros: Scary stabilizer, unbeatable price, focal, quality on FF, robustness, fast AF Cons: Sharpness on dense APSC sensors, sharpness after 200mm Opinion: Extra-famous lens that gives me discreet satisfactions. Robust, reliable AF that doesn't miss a beat, at this price it's hard to find better. If you want brightness and sharpness at all focal points the figures to spend (and the weight to carry with you) are something else. Mount it on FF and you won't regret it. Honorable mention to the stabilizer who does incredible work! sent on September 14, 2020 |
![]() | Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 Pro FX Pros: Sharpness in the middle, honest price, quality and robustness Cons: Poor sharpness at the edges and coma, slow AF, low flare resistance, is not tropicalized, you can not disassemble the lampshade Opinion: Taken as the first lens to be mounted on Nikon D750. Despite being plastic it has excellent build quality, solid and reliable. Although the sharpness in the center is acceptable at full opening, at the edges it is scarce and the coma is quite noticeable causing the nose to twist to those who have the craze for perfection. Moreover, the AF is sometimes uncertain and slow, I would not use it in dynamic situations if not used properly. I replaced it because adding more pieces to my optical park the total weight was starting to become challenging. sent on September 14, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED Pros: Lightness, practicality, tropicalization, flare resistance, fast AF Cons: Minimum focal "only" of 18mm Opinion: Used nowhere to be found. Whoever has this goal, does not give it away easily. I took it to replace the Tokina 16-28 2.8 first series. Although I also rated the 16-35 Nikon house, in the end I preferred this because much lighter, more practical and cheaper. Compared to other brighter wide angles it gives the possibility to mount filters with standard measuring holders (which is no small feat). It is a lens that gives great satisfaction especially on the road or in the mountains where the weight in the backpack is an important factor to consider. sent on September 14, 2020 |
