Fotografo fin dall'adolescenza. All'inizio con la elioflex di mio padre, poi sono passato ad una Canon AE-1. In contemporanea ho cominciato a stampare con un Durst 607 anche per poter utilizzare le pellicole scattate con una Mamiya 6x7 con ottica Nikkor 80mm a soffietto di mio fratello anche lui appassionato come gli altri due di fotografia. Da qui il passo verso la Canon F-1 old e poi successivamente alla Canon F-1 new e infine ho acquistato una Nikon F-3. Grazie alle lezioni private ho potuto arricchire il mio corredo con decine di ottiche sia Canon che Nikon, dal 17 mm al 400. Ho imparato a effettuare le stampe in Cibachrome (perchè il 90% dei miei scatti era in dia). Poi una lunga pausa per ragioni professionali. Ho ripreso da qualche anno con nuovo entusiasmo grazie a mio figlio che mi ha chiesto di accompagnarlo a New York. Adesso ho anche un micro 4/3 Lumix che si affianca alla Canon 6D. Amo la street ma anche i paesaggi, i ritratti, le foto d'arte. Mi tengono compagnia i libri,passione onnivora, e la musica.
