![]() | Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH Pros: Bright, very light, not bulky, complete with lampshed, super cheap. Sharpness/autofocus/etc. all perfect x me. Cons: I do not have that from my point of view. Opinion: No cons? Well, yes, I didn't find any. It's not tropicalized I could say.. but it's not a con, it's a feature of the goal. I've been using it for a couple of years, but to be honest I've used it very little. I bought it x the videos with the g80, but it always remained unused.. until.. I didn't rediscover it for photos! Given that I photograph (photographed..) exclusively with fuji and used panasonic x videos, in recent months I am changing habits. All the fault of a noise reduction algorithm (friends call it "deep prime"). Long story short and do not digress too much, after hundreds of hours and test shots (sò de coccio, I know) I discovered hot water. That is, the panasonic mft beats my fuji apsc high iso. In practice post production manages to overcome the result of my apsc (which cannot use the same software because the program does not accept fuji raw files). I mean, I never expected it, but now I use panasonic for tall iso and fuji x the pocket (xa2). This 50 equivalent to 1.7 seems to me to be doing very well. For me it is sharp, quick and very light. It goes very well with the g80.. it feels like you haven't even attached it to the body. It's the cheapest panasonic lens available for micro-thirds, but the yield is really great. If you do not have or do not want to spend too much, this perspective remains a "must have". Paid new 155 coffees in the Amazon. sent on March 18, 2021 |
![]() | Fujifilm XC 35mm f/2 Pros: Very light, compact, very sharp, very pleasant bokeh for an equivalent 50ino, Ultra-fast and precise Af on an old X-A2, price. Cons: All plastic (bayonet included), without lampshed, without diaphragm ring. Opinion: Purchased used equal to the new for 163 euros including shipping (taken in Brazil where the new costs 300 instead of 200). I synthesized everything in the PROs and CONS. I'm really happy with the purchase. The image quality of the rest is identical to the tropicalized f2 sibling. Of course there is plastic instead of metal, there is no lampshed, but the cons stop there. Those who do not have a tropicalized body can safely save something with this lens. The qualitative result is the same. Pleasure of use not always (I like the diaphragm ring.. and I don't understand why Fuji can't put it in the XCs as well while maintaining plastic and cheaper construction). Now my kit counts the beauty of 3 lenses ? an 8mm f2.8, a 18mm f2 and this 35mm f2. It far exceeded my expectations. Good light at all. sent on February 01, 2021 |
![]() | Pentax SMC DA 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AL (IF) DC WR Pros: Handy (27-202mm equivalent FF), very compact, tropicalized, very fast AF (also on an old K10D), nice colors and great bokeh in daytime portraits even at f5.6 (being the stuff pushed enough), price in the used Cons: Chromatic aberration in the backlight (if I really have to find a fault .. it is a defect common to many lenses and correctable in a click in pp) Opinion: Purchased equal to the new (2 weeks of life) in Germany via the bay .. 265 euros incl. Shipping dhl. They also gave me a UV Hoya filter as if it were not enough. It's a good deal, I'm very happy with this view because it's the first superzoom I have and sincerely expected a worse quality. Of course I can not say that it is like light fixed optics, but it is very well advocated by giving discreetly sharp shots and above all a priceless convenience: full focal range + tropicalization. RnI bought it to "come back" to my old Pentax K10D, An exceptional iso 100 machine (but only iso 100 in my opinion). I needed a "battle" camera to use at 99% on the beach here in Brazil. So I solved it so .. supercomputer and optics both tropicalized .. and passes the fear of the wind (sometimes strong) that raises my sand or my daughter constantly raising water splashes. Of course I will not have the compactness / lightness of a fuji (which I keep onBut I have to say in defense of Pentax that they are well-tropical machines that run smoothly from -20 ° of winter in Prague to the equatorial sun of Brazil ... without even the soft plastics of the handle being minimally affected. Pentax has problems with it (the first one that comes to my mind is the continuous AF), but in this case I had a pleasant surprise .. that is this lens really focuses really fast (we are almost at the level of 16-50mm F2.8 with ultrasonic motor that I had and then resold for other problems - see my review-). Even with little light it focuses quickly and precisely (although I do not use it in these conditions because my old body does not support the tall iso). RnThe compactness then .. i just say this: it's 1 cm longer than the 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 of the Fuji .. it has a nice extra focal excursion! It is 2 centimeters and a half shorter than Fuji's 18-135mm f.3.5-5.6 (with the same focal length). And more is tropicalized .. something notN underestimate. RnUse it only on the beach, with the sun or in any daytime where there is a need for tropicalization .. I think that's perfect.rn I would like to point out that I use it "family", that is, we take photos of the days at the sea in the family, Softness on the edges "I do not even look for it (although some say that there are .. and I believe it, but for the use I do .. I do not care). I have noticed AC in the backlight (common to so many goals ..) but being removable in a raw camera click ... for me there are no problems. RnUn superzoom is bought for convenience, not for excellence in results. It will always get better photos of sketch-proof sketches with much smaller sensors. There are several on sale on ebay at more than honest prices (250/300 euro) maybe who has bought it in the kit due to the convenience .. change it Opt and put a fixed or 2.8 zoom at constant opening .. i do not know, anyway taken at this price is worth it if you think ofMaking it a day-to-day use. Combining it with a fixed light for the evening you have a very compact kit. I personally use it (as mentioned) only on the beach, while in the evening for restaurants, friends, birthday parties I'm fine with Fuji and bright lights. Now I just miss a Panasonic gx80 to film decently .. After losing so much time reading reviews and studying ... I understand that it does not exist and there will never be a perfect camera that is fit to do it all. Every camera excels in something and sins in something else. I prefer (as a non-professional amateur) to have more bodies / systems (though at low cost) that allow me to "excel" in what I have to do at that time (sea photos, low light interiors, video stabilized in 4k ..). In addition, this little bright zoom has "saved" my old K10D and has cost as a compact beach with a small sensor. Obviously, as always, everything depends on your needs (k10D + 18-135mm does not have the same size as a gopro session) mEven the quality is different. sent on July 28, 2017 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-A2 Pros: The same as the X-A1 which is almost a clone, in addition, it only has the ability to rotate the "almost" 180 degree screen for the selfies and (finally) there is also the "classic chrome" movie simulation. Cons: The same as the X-A1 which is almost a clone: ??AF continuous unusable for both photo and video (for the latter the only viable path is that of manual focus), too contrasted videos (shadows too closed that, unlike Photos that can be opened with room adjustments can not be corrected, if not limited to post production), creative filters that can only be used in JPEG, autofocus only for contrast detection (there is a lack of hybrid, especially in very light situations Poor with certain lenses f2.8, better with 18mm F2). Opinion: I bought it used as new on the bay at 220 euros all included (from England). I knew exactly I would have a "clone" of the X-A1 still in my possession. But I took it basically because I wanted the 180 ° tilt screen and a second body to hold the two more I use optics (18mm and 8mm) and also to be able to make photos and videos at the same time. The autofocus for the videos is ridiculous with this type of entry-level cameras while getting excellent results by working manual (especially with the fisheye samyang 8mm) and then de-fisheyezzando (I invented a new verb ?? haha) with a great plugin Free for final cut. For the rest, the camera behaves as well as the previous one. Quick focus with wide angle (even in low light), while it does not shine at all with 27mm (in the interior with low light! Daylight outdoors it's fine too ..). It is a car I would definitely recommend considering the great value for money. It has an excellent high ISO sealHe has 6400 iso (working the raw). On jpegs I would not go beyond the 2000 iso (keeping the in-room noise reduction at -2) especially if you want to cropping. But it all depends on the use you want to do ... as always. For generic, non-professional use, family or vacation memories .. is an excellent machine. There are limitations and there are few (compared to admirals), but learning how to manage and overcome limitations imposed by the machine "helps grow". The raw ones are (extremely modest) extremely laborious: I do not know x-trans, but shadows open up to 75% in the raw chamber without being "fake". I'm thinking of joining a Panasonic m43 just for the videos (gx80 or g80 we'll see) because this Fuji has shadows too low in low light (not correctable in the room unlike the photos) and also because of the lack of stabilization in the Fuji bodies. But for the photos I will keep this machine for 3 reasons: cheap, small / light, surprising in low light! Rn Last thing! The photo does it (to 90%) the one who snaps .. for which if you sOr asking for what is worth investing. My advice is to invest on yourself (books, courses, travel ... and have fun shooting!) sent on April 12, 2017 |
![]() | Samyang 8mm f/2.8 UMC Fisheye II Pros: field angle, brightness, price, compact, discreet sharpness Cons: Manual focus, weight Opinion: Got used to 210 on Amazon, I arrived one indistinguishable from the new (but without Fowa card .. patience!). RNLA first thing that struck me was the weight. Compared to Fuji 18mm or 27mm pancake seemed a piece of lead (maybe you feel more because being small I'll lighter aspects ..). In each case with Fujifilm x-a1 + factory grip I would say that balance, whereas no grip imbalance is felt since the machine body is very light. It is good that intrigued me for some time, although not essential for me, I wanted to give up to have some fun 'to do something different. The focus is very easy for people not in the foreground even at full aperture. For close-ups diaphragm opened instead it helps with the magnification of the focus (the focus peaking I find it useless with this particular optical) or if there is to seize the moment you can entrust to the ring with the distances (which seems to me quite clear, unlike other bodyand optical Samyang) .rnComunque mine are simple iniziali..l'ho impressions really used just for the moment, and I have yet to experience a lot. But I can say that I like molto..si open new prospettive.rnMi would have liked a minimum focusing distance .. more corta..ma patience, already so it's not bad. sent on December 05, 2016 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 18mm f/2 R Pros: Compact, light, crisp where it is needed, "human" price, discreet autofocus with old x-a1 only contrast detection Cons: Lack of sharpness at the edges, but usabilissima in my humble opinion Opinion: Got used to 300 € in a photo shop (with one-year warranty of the store) I have already innamorato.rnÈ focal I use most often, in practice everywhere, though at times is too big just a small crop and off .. rnEccezionale for weight and size ... I've combined with a 27 pancakes and a Samyang 8mm. I have a kit in a very small space. I've thought so much about what to take (I also tried an extreme choice .. 16mm 1.4 and nothing else) but then I preferred silence the various "monkeys" and I took the most compact Fujifilm optics to remain faithful to the idea early: a mirrorless it takes to get something pocket. rnPoi obviously depends on the needs of each, there is always "something better", really ma..serve the "absolute best" to stop a moment? rnQuest'ottica is fabulous for my needs (reportage, travel, photos with family and friends, occasional landscapes, portraits ambientati roba..in ... so little space!) I love it !! sent on December 05, 2016 |
![]() | Pentax K10D Pros: Ergonomics, possibility to combine a bg, excellent autonomy without bg and tropical conditions, quality and detail of the jpg as they come out from the camera, ability to use it with all the old Pentax lenses, but also Sigma, Tamron adaptall2, etc. maintaining exposure, confirms maf and stabilizing lenses. Cons: unpleasant noise already from 800 ISO, inability to micro af no "hack" the camera Opinion: Purchased in 2006 and combined with the 16-50 2.8 recensisco today only 10 years away. Obvious today its limitations (ISO in particular). Yet it is a car that I loved (and sometimes hated!) But it has never left me indifferent. For a day use with good light it is still valid today. The detail in jpeg find it or even better cameras out 10 years later (better detail but nonexistent noise reduction!). So in good stead as I said is a valid camera. The autofocus I've always found faster coupled to the only lens that af "I" (16-502.8 ultrasonic), but I must add that I have never had the need we take pictures of moving subjects. I have always focused on the central recomposing, what I was doing even with film SLR. Apart from the ISO, I hated this camera for the lack of micro af. Believe me, until you find yourself in the hands of a lens from 1000 euro and there'll not be able to correct the front and back focus errors can not really understand the meaning of FRUStension you feel. Yes the 16-50 2.8 Pentax suffers both front to back coupled with k10d. It seems then to have understood the Pentax is in fact the k20d was equipped with micro adjustment. What it does instead is upset that Pentax has carefully refrained from correcting the problem of k10d (only needed a firmware that become available the hidden menu that already exists in the camera). To this day if I had to buy back a one of the main requirements reflex would be just fine adjustment f. Everything else you can live with, each camera has its strengths and weaknesses and the photographer always has to adapt (and this obviously applies to all brands and models). Worth buy it today? Although I have 10 years in any areas I can still have their say. I do not recommend it for what I have described above. But if you have a very limited budget (is 150 euro today), and you are "geeks" (that does not scare you "hack" the k10d to enable micro af Room), then you might also, andtory the right purchase. The pros of k10d are not few and they are not insignificant. sent on May 20, 2016 |
![]() | Pentax SMC DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 ED AL (IF) SDM Pros: bright zoom, fast ultrasonic AF, very good "grip", and optimum efficiency Cons: Extremely delicate due to shocks (other flaws have already been reported, but are within the limits dell'accettabile in my opinion), bad service Pentax Opinion: I bought this zoom just came out (to match the Pentax K10D). I've used it for years with satisfaction (although sometimes suffered from a front-back focus that could not be corrected because the K10D not allow fine adjustment order). One day, unfortunately, going by car over the dunes in Brazil with the camera around your neck I hit the lens side (my inattention of course) but the bump on the side "rubberized" optics was not then "so strong" (no clear sign aesthetically stayed perfect) but it was enough to split the interior plastic hook that serves to squeeze out completely zooming. Shaking felt the piece of plastic "dancing" in the barrel. I continued to use the optics for years, pulling out manually the zoom..poi one day I said to myself "ripariamolo on." Contacted the Pentax in Florence first ask detailed information explaining the problem (replace internal and micror plasticA still use with Pentax lenses satisfaction of 70-80 years in MF..pesi but strong, not to mention dell'80-200 f2.8 Tamron (model 30A) that has followed me for the world without suffering ever a scratch (1,5kg of pure metal). Just to say that I do not start at all biased against the Pentax, but one thing is certain: excellently car bodies built, but extremely delicate recent optics in my opinion. sent on March 17, 2016 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-A1 Pros: compactness, weight, quality of the sensor, high ISO drugs, allows to obtain excellent results in jpeg without having to work in post Cons: battery not at the level of SLR (solved by buying other spare), lack of viewfinder (for those who can not break away), ergonomics Compact (solved with fuji handle) Opinion: Combined with the 18 or 27 f2 2.8 for me is the compact camera almost "perfect". Always makes you want to go out with her .. I bought at 370 euros in Germany full of 16-50 zoom and then I took 27 pancakes (used at 220). Less than 600 € all. The tears her up in Germany was just a quirk aesthetic: in Italy the black x-a1 is produced only with the aesthetics "plasticky" In Germany I found black with "skin" effect. In practice with the same aesthetic as X-a2 to understand each other. Essential anything, but I liked more like that. I then bought a spare battery to 9 euro (compatible) and the additional handle Fujifilm HG-XM1 (38 euro) to which I added another "handle" to have "grip" on the thumb .. latter accessory all aluminum is mounted on the flash shoe and still better and better the overall grip of the camera .. I took it for about 5 Euros directlyfrom China. Overjoyed to have taken it! I recommend veramente..io we find magnificently. Ultimately it ergonomics improves more with the "thumb grip" from 5 euro that with the additional handgrip Fuji from 38 euro .. the machine is held with one hand with much more ease. After more than one year after purchase I am extremely pleased with the excellent value for money (I think we used today they pull behind ..). But we also speak of the limitations that I found: 1) the autofocus only contrast in low light conditions is for me the greatest limitation (although now I live there peacefully). It is a car that excels in low light with moving subjects -as children-, but having some experience you still managed to bring home good foto..certo shortfall compared to the SLR. 2) the delay between when you press the shutter button and when the camera actually takes the picture .. I happen very often, especially on the image on the fly (sometimes can & ograve; be it a combination of shutter lag and autofocus that lightning does not add up). But knowing the car you get used to and learn to better anticipate situations and then looking for the "advance" .. after all it is the task of the photographer learn to make up for the deficiencies of the instrument in his hand (in this sense a machine " imperfect "helps more because the photographer pushes constantly thinking, anticipating, understanding how to get the result you want). 3) the lack of viewfinder: for me it is only a limit with the old manual tele 1kg and a half because not placing your eye to the camera fails a "support" very useful and manual focus is rather difficult (to 300mm further enlarging with peaking focus is almost impossible to focus). It may be that with tele fuji autofocus the situation will be better (do not know why I have not ..), in each case for all the other situations I am fine I even without a scope! The Display is clearly visible even in the sun (the use brasile..vicino equator so I know something of the sun ..). 4) modification of some parameters requires the use of the menu and the "slow" .. luckily there is a Q button that gives you access "almost everything" in a moment would be -better poterselo customize to your piacimento..l 'Q internal menu mean ..- 5) battery and ergonomics are limits so to speak, in the sense that I have already solved them with spare batteries and 2 handles aggiuntive.rnI advantages of this camera: 1) excellent image quality JPG in good light 2) Best image quality in RAW in low light / high iSO 4) very compact 5) interchangeable optics 6) built-in flash that I was pleasantly surprised both for accuracy than for power 7) tiltable display both low shot photo is fotodall'alto for holding the camera with his arms raised. Surely I forget many other things, but I wanted to give an overview of potential defects and to those who want even prenderne used a few Euros! I currently am very tempted by the new way of folding Xa3..per migliorie..schermo, touchscreen, 24mpx, switch focus on the front, tracking 77 points, time lapse, etc. etc .. BUT expect the tests, see if prices deflate a bit .. we understand if the new arrival .. good photos with any camera you are now .. everything else is really needed is (sacrosanct) monkey! :) RNPs: the lack of weather sealing for me is a limit (as in the tropics we dress and the moisture does not fail ..) however, after more than a year the car has never given nod to suffer (no mold, no oxidation, nothing malfunction ..). I can only dire..grazie Fuji! sent on May 20, 2015 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 Pros: Compactness, lightness, definition, sharpness, etc. etc. Cons: overcharge the new (buy 2 pancakes canon at this price) Opinion: B, but ragazzi..potersi pocketable its mirrorless output for Sunday family, a party of children or any occasion where an SLR or a mirrorless lens protruding .. it would be cumbersome for me is priceless. The 27mm turns any mirrorless fuji in a compact! Seen in this light (pardon the pun) for me is a purchase that does not repent! But if we consider the list price of the new .. I were you I would look used! ;) sent on May 20, 2015 |
![]() | Fujifilm XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS II Pros: Price, wide-angle 24mm (equivalent) F.3.5 Cons: low light with paintings (but you knew that already) Opinion: When I purchased (online in Germany) the X-A1 have been long fought to take it only if the body or the whole kit (ie with this goal). In the end I decided to spend 70 Euros more to have too zoom. The reasoning was this: the X-a1 was purchased for use with the 27mm f.2.8 and 90% will remain attached to the pancake. But it is also true that for 70 € I brought home a 16mm F.3.5 that can always be handy (other focal are not to be thrown away anyway if you use them during sunny days when the brightness is not in short supply). So I can say that this lens is definitely recommended for those who buy a complete kit (car + zoom) paying the latter a few tens of euro as in my case. The overall quality of the lens (though the price might suggest otherwise) seem good. Obviously it is a view that I never bought separated from the body for 300 euro :) sent on May 20, 2015 |
