Pros: cost

Cons: sport pictures

Opinion: i purchased it with the xc 16-50 and the xc 50-230 for a good price, i'm not a expert but i think it is a great camera to begin. fuji is not very popular and so you have less opportunity in the used market. i find out very dissicult to take pictures of moving subject but it may be caused by the not excellent autofocus of the lenses series xc and by my poor skills, but anyway i consider this camera a very good alternative even to the most popular canon/nikon on the market.

Pros: Compactness, price (especially today used), aesthetics, weight

Cons: lack of exposure preview, controls can be improved (changing the ISO is cumbersome), dated sensor, lack of electronic shutter, display without touch

Opinion: Bought used to accompany the xt30 to have a body to leave in aut and to carry without patemi on the road. Purchased for only 140 euros in 2023 (with two years warranty), among other things white, it is certainly good for its purpose, especially with the 27 pancakes - for the street it is fabulous because you notice very little (too bad for the absence of electronic shutter). Compared to an xt30 makes it clear its cheapness: with the two rings we can directly control only times and apertures, the iso are cumbersome to change (you have to go or from the q menu or assign it the only function key); the display is not touch but the biggest problem in my opinion is the lack of exposure preview (which is fantastic on other fuji) and also you can rely only on the exposure scale (which goes only from +3 to -3) and inexplicably NOT THE HISTOGRAM, which does not update and therefore acts only in reproduction; The 16 megapixels are noticeable if you are used to the 26, but you can certainly settle (for the street they can go). In conclusion, if you are looking for a cover to start or to always carry around at reasonable prices there can be, but to spend more than 150 (and it is much less) it is better to go elsewhere. It is still a fuji body to which you can attach any fuji x and is really beautiful aesthetically (at least on the front). It could be a plus the display that rotates by 180 because it allows selfies and vlogs, even if it does not reach an optimal angle - if used in tilt it still does its duty.

Pros: The same as the X-A1 which is almost a clone, in addition, it only has the ability to rotate the "almost" 180 degree screen for the selfies and (finally) there is also the "classic chrome" movie simulation.

Cons: The same as the X-A1 which is almost a clone: ??AF continuous unusable for both photo and video (for the latter the only viable path is that of manual focus), too contrasted videos (shadows too closed that, unlike Photos that can be opened with room adjustments can not be corrected, if not limited to post production), creative filters that can only be used in JPEG, autofocus only for contrast detection (there is a lack of hybrid, especially in very light situations Poor with certain lenses f2.8, better with 18mm F2).

Opinion: I bought it used as new on the bay at 220 euros all included (from England). I knew exactly I would have a "clone" of the X-A1 still in my possession. But I took it basically because I wanted the 180 ° tilt screen and a second body to hold the two more I use optics (18mm and 8mm) and also to be able to make photos and videos at the same time. The autofocus for the videos is ridiculous with this type of entry-level cameras while getting excellent results by working manual (especially with the fisheye samyang 8mm) and then de-fisheyezzando (I invented a new verb ?? haha) with a great plugin Free for final cut. For the rest, the camera behaves as well as the previous one. Quick focus with wide angle (even in low light), while it does not shine at all with 27mm (in the interior with low light! Daylight outdoors it's fine too ..). It is a car I would definitely recommend considering the great value for money. It has an excellent high ISO sealHe has 6400 iso (working the raw). On jpegs I would not go beyond the 2000 iso (keeping the in-room noise reduction at -2) especially if you want to cropping. But it all depends on the use you want to do ... as always. For generic, non-professional use, family or vacation memories .. is an excellent machine. There are limitations and there are few (compared to admirals), but learning how to manage and overcome limitations imposed by the machine "helps grow". The raw ones are (extremely modest) extremely laborious: I do not know x-trans, but shadows open up to 75% in the raw chamber without being "fake". I'm thinking of joining a Panasonic m43 just for the videos (gx80 or g80 we'll see) because this Fuji has shadows too low in low light (not correctable in the room unlike the photos) and also because of the lack of stabilization in the Fuji bodies. But for the photos I will keep this machine for 3 reasons: cheap, small / light, surprising in low light! Rn Last thing! The photo does it (to 90%) the one who snaps .. for which if you sOr asking for what is worth investing. My advice is to invest on yourself (books, courses, travel ... and have fun shooting!)

Pros: lightweight performance at high ISO (detail and seal against noise), film simulation "Classic Chrome", cost

Cons: Raw less valid machine X-trans, firmware limitations similar to other machines XA and XM

Opinion: Purchased in a kit with the Fujinon XC II 16-50 and 50-230 II for the sole purpose of replacing the similar goals of the first series, this car surprised me and has carved out its own specific space thanks to its characteristics distinct from other X-Trans machines I have. The technicians Fuji, having to propose to the public for strictly economic reasons a machine equipped with a normal Bayer sensor, worked in order to avoid that the buyer complained an excessive detachment from the other qualitative Fujifilm; in this context they have equipped the car with an engine Jpeg even more interesting than the other machines on board, getting a Raw noisier and less detailed (just open it in Camera Lucida to note it) to produce JPEG images natively even more clean and rich details of the sisters. RNLA machine itself retains the mix of equipment suitable for an audience "approach" to photography, in addition to the usual adjustments, and renunciation, I think to avoid overlaps with other models of the house, some evenUseful features ellettroniche (one of all: the level) .rnNell'insieme I find a car recommendable thousand times if you do not plan to work on raw, and, if not, I suggest you try, also used, any other model with X-Trans sensor

Pros: All those of Fuji latest generation

Cons: I can not find

Opinion: I purchased this camera to give it to our daughter so she can have fun and learn. I already possess the X-Pro1, the X-E2 and X-T1. Of course I wanted to try it myself and with the 16-50 kit that with other XF lenses that already possess. I can safely say that 'a large machine that X-A2! The sensor makes the jpeg so spectacular, the yield at high ISO and 'that note home Fuji and the screen' more clearly defined and even the X-T1.rnNaturalmente and 'a machine must be seen in the field of to which the public and 'dedicated. If I look and judge with the eyes of the serious photographer semiprofessional could complain about the lack of the EVF, the adjustment rings and even the little ergonomics if you mount lenses a bit 'more bulky. But this and 'a machine dedicated to those who make photography so "cheeky", to those who are' still used to using the screen instead of the viewfinder and therefore in this light the car and 'very valid. Then (and this' was the true joyour daughter) the possibility to rotate the creen of 180 degrees in order to take the selfie and then via wi-fi to send the photos on your phone or iPad. What might want more a teenager? !!!)))))) RnTendenze adolescent apart I can say that this mcchinetta works really well and that the quality of the sensor Fuji latest generation continues to confirm as validissimo.rnP.S. purchased on ebay at the figure of 500 DOLLARS, shipping and obiattivo 16-50 included. Highly recommended! RnMax
