Studio gli uccelli da una vita, mi occupo di ornitologia e conservazione. Fino all'anno 2012 ero il responsabile dell'oasi di Torrile. Progetto che ho ideato e creato io con la lipu e alcuni amici. E' stata una bella storia ma l'invidia di qualcuno...ha fatto finire la collaborazione. Da un campo coltivato ho creato una delle oasi più famose per la fotografia naturalistica.
Fotografo da 1981, quando gli ISO si chiamavano ASA ed erano molto pochi, come i soldi che giravano per la fotografia e le pellicole costavano un casino. Dal 2002 filmo con canon xl ora hd, soprattutto per raccogliere i comportamenti più misteriosi degli uccelli. Dal 2011 ho ripreso a fotografare.Cambiando abitazione mi sto costruendo la mia minioasi privata nel giardino di un ettaro adiacente la casa. Spero nei miei vicini, se mi concederanno altra terra da allagare l'oasi diventerà importante. Dietro casa ho due capanni che stanno iniziando a fruttare, con tutti i problemi di gestione di un'area minuscola (il DgM), ma che mi sta dando molte soddisfazioni. (nel mio sito trovate + informazioni sia sul GdM che sulla mia storia).
