Ho iniziato a fotografare da ragazzino con una fotocamera reflex biottica, economica di fabbricazione sovietica (Lubitel); mi sono appassionato ed alla pratica ho applicato la teoria leggendo manuali tecnici di A. Feininger, Il salto di qualità, come attrezzatura, l'ho fatto con una Olymus OM-1, frutto di tanti sacrifici e risparmi; ma prima di passare al digitale ho usato per anni una Nikon FE2. Un primo approccio col digitale è stato con Olympus Camedia e Canon IXUS IIs. Attualmente uso una Nikon D300 ed una Fuji X-E3. Le mie foto preferite sono quelle di architettura, ma non disdegno tanto altro e tutto ciò che colpisce i miei sensi e che reputo idoneo ad essere immortalato col mio obiettivo. Più delle riprese comuni, cerco di evidenziare quei particolari, una specie di icona, che possono meglio esprimere la bellezza ed il significato dell'immagine in tutto il suo insieme...a volte credo di riuscirci.
