![]() | Hasselblad XCD 90mm f/3.2 Pros: Excellent quality right up to the edges, in colours, micro and macro-contrasts. Center shutter up to 1/2,000 sec. Construction at the level of fame. Cons: Not lightning-fast focusing if you're used to Nikon and Canon. This model does not have the distance scale with the depth of field indices, although here the PDC is a quantity of its own. Opinion: Unsurpassed for studio or outdoor portraits and equally unsurpassed in landscapes. The focus is "ruthless", but the blur is typical of Hasselblad, so very regular and pleasant. The optical quality is mind-blowing in every respect, from the center to the edges. When you don't need too much readability of the blur, you can safely shoot wide open without any loss of definition. It's worth everything it costs. sent on May 09, 2024 |
![]() | Leica M11 Pros: Excellent build quality and excellent visuals. Cons: Focus MANUAL ONLY Opinion: Machine with peaks of perfection and chasms of obsolescence. Perfect for a traveler, but not for a professional. Only one card slot (although there is internal memory). The controls have a very intuitive access, especially for those who come from the world of film, in fact this camera is appreciated above all (and perhaps exclusively) by those who are not very young. Diopter correction is done by adding a corrective lens to the eyepiece. Excellent construction. Very high perceived quality. sent on February 03, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon D4s Pros: Sensitivity, speed, tonal width. Cons: still nobody Opinion: Truly extraordinary. Beyond my expectations. Certainly not pocketable, but very ergonomic and (finally) the illuminated keys (yes, as in nokia 3310: D). If you accidentally shoot at 6400 instead of at 400 ISO and print 13x18 you probably will not notice anyone. The settings menu is very complete and allows customizations on each parameter. sent on January 14, 2018 |
