Rather heavy once engaged, this 90 instead is relatively light and in addition does not overhang forward during focusing, built, like all XCD lenses, very very well entirely in metal and with a very fluid and pasty MAF ring that entices you to use it manually. Obviously it costs, like all XCD glass, but on the other hand it returns breathtaking images. Not recommended for action as the AF is rather slow, but its fields of choice are photography designed as portraits and landscapes, so it doesn't matter. Pros: Excellent quality right up to the edges, in colours, micro and macro-contrasts. Center shutter up to 1/2,000 sec. Construction at the level of fame.

Opinion: Unsurpassed for studio or outdoor portraits and equally unsurpassed in landscapes. The focus is "ruthless", but the blur is typical of Hasselblad, so very regular and pleasant. The optical quality is mind-blowing in every respect, from the center to the edges. When you don't need too much readability of the blur, you can safely shoot wide open without any loss of definition. It's worth everything it costs.
