Opinion: Taken with 2000 shots at 1/3 of its list price (today it is at a good price), it made me sell all my lenses and cameras, because I use only this one and a Nikon D810 (when I shoot with the 28 or 50). I use it with a zeiss 35 f2.8 biogon or the summicron 40 f2, the latter for a more vintage, soft rendering. The zeiss is surgical without being aseptic and has a medium format, material look, I can't explain it, this combination bewitched me. Never had battery problems (it lasts forever), and not even memory, it has 64gb integrated + a 64 card and go. The dedicated app works great, child-resistant menu, no cables between your feet. I don't feel the lack of AF, trivially I shoot at f8 and I have everything in focus from 1.5mt to 5mt. Then from there I change if I have to do landscape for example or for photos posed with open apertures. I use the viewfinder a lot but I turn a blind eye, forgive me the purists. Buying it takes effort, and you would probably be able to have the same photographs with any other camera, as long as you are inspired. I don't do pixel peeping, there will definitely be better cameras on paper, she is the best for me.

No focus aid, no stabilization, no bursts, no settings to make videos, nothing at all, just shutter speeds, apertures, ISO and manual focus. But what it offers you it does with the best technology available. Phenomenal sensor with stratospheric performance, possibility to choose the size of the RAW (60, 36 or 18 mpx, not cropping the image but remapping the sensor), integrated 64 GB internal memory. There is little to say about the quality of the camera body, it is the usual machine made in Leica with a state-of-the-art assembly quality and materials. On the installed software I have read many complaints about it due to frequent freezes of the system, slowness in turning on, problems of overexposure, problems with some SD memories, icons represented in an undefined way, problems with USB connection to the PC. With the latest firmware installed (at the time of writing 2.2.1) ALL of these issues have been fixed. The only disadvantage of this system in my opinion is the prices. Leica charges for its products and a lot too, especially for this M system.
