Pros: Construction, Menu, ISO Sealing, Quality Files, Viewfinder, Ergonomics.

Cons: The weight, but it is the direct consequence of its construction, cost of XQD cards.

Opinion: Reflex purchased two years ago and with which I faced demanding journeys (dust, humidity, temperatures, shocks). I have always wanted a "pro" both for some work and for travel and finally I had the opportunity to buy it at a ridiculous price for its excellent condition. An "essential" machine in its use with a clear and direct menu made for those who have to work. Beautiful and workable files with very pleasant grain even at high iso. Almost flawless white balance as well as autofocus. Infinite battery: with one charge over 2000 shots. Lightweight files that don't clog up the hd. Sixteen exceptional mpx up to 50x70 (the maximum format in which I printed). Sound of the "manly" shot that can be excessive in some situations, but never had problems either in church or in other "delicate" circumstances while traveling. I don't hide to photograph. It is a reflex that I recommend only to those who are really motivated and have reflected on what they really want. If you are looking for lightness, "discretion", computational functions, ibis, crop etc., it is certainly not the body to buy.

Pros: Everything for what a camera can have in 2025, iso tightness, sharpness, sensor, viewfinder

Cons: If only they did it again

Opinion: I owned Fujifilm for several years, great cameras being apsc perhaps the best on the market, but I left the mirrorles world to return to the reflex world, I didn't regret it on the contrary... Why didn t I have it before? Exceptional machine from the burst to the final result, incredible iso tightness, beautiful files, which is why at its release it cost more than 6000€ are machines that do not stop even if you hit them in the wall .. I bought it used at 3400 shots, and I think it will stay with me loooong for a long time.

Pros: ALL

Cons: not having it

Opinion: Crazy balance camera! Hands on typical of the nikon house! Fabulous at high iso. Beautiful, light, clean and ready-made file! Bought used for a few pennies, I reserve the right to update this review later! Vote 10! Obviously improvements have been made on the most recent nikon D6 and Z9 but for those who are looking for ready-made files like me and always safe shots with the D4s it is a guarantee!! Super professional SLR, recommended. Solid as a tank! Really a pleasure to use it. The files he churns out speak for themselves! Used with quality lenses, it is not afraid of the most modern rivals. If you happen to have one at a good price and decently maintained, it can be a game-changer! I add that on the AF side and especially high ISO we are at absolutely incredible levels not to say frightening! At 25600 it seems to be at 800 with well-emblazoned cameras that take two of spades from this MONSTER! The sensor is something magical, beastly, unparalleled! It churns out files that are really crazy! I love the D4s

Pros: Body, file quality, high iso hold, infinite battery, af, shutter, burst.

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: Found almost new Nital kept really well, from the serial number compared with others I think it is one of the last produced. I come from D750, an excellent machine that is a bit of an all-rounder but that is behind the D4s. The d4s has the files immediately ready, crazy colors, perfect sharpness, the files are very clean and sharp, perfect light meter and white balance, burst and spatial shot. I have tested it a little more, but practically it has a monstrous high iso resistance, especially if we think that it is a camera produced 10 years ago with a specific noise reduction software I shot at 1/60 F2.8 with 24-70 Nikon iso 32000 yes (thirty-two thousand) and it is perfect (obviously these are extreme cases). It focuses almost in the dark, as af seems almost identical to the D750 but I say almost because the latter had the help of infrared that often hit with the big lenses making it useless, where this stops the D4s still focuses. I tested the 3d Tracking with people running towards me and I was very satisfied, almost all in focus. Well, a flagship, no doubt about it. The last gem is the eternal battery. I think that the Mirrorless as far as I'm concerned will be able to wait a long time.-

Pros: File quality, high ISO, always correct exposure, AF accuracy, white balance, aesthetics. General balance.

Cons: AF speed and sensitivity outclassed by later flagships.

Opinion: The most beautiful Nikon DSLR ever. A great balance that, it seems to me, I have never used, the subsequent flagships no longer have: certainly much improved on the AF side, however, they would seem to have a less satisfactory sensor. I have seven other Nikon DSLRs, admittedly lower class, but only she always exposes correctly, always focuses correctly, and so on. Certainty of the result. As soon as the opportunity arises (before I had the double D700, now I have the double Df), I buy a second one.
