![]() | Tamron 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD Pros: Sharpness Lightness, Dexterity Cons: slightly bulky but... Opinion: Considering that it has internal zoom (in addition to focus) it is not as bulky as it appears, razor-sharp photos, sincere colors and absence of chromatic aberrations. It costs the right amount and did not make me regret my beloved Tamron 11-20 from when I had the sensor in APSC. Matching and extended up to 50mm so it becomes an "almost" all-rounder. I post some first photos for the record. I haven't done any technical tests that I don't know but the photos speak for themselves Giò sent on April 28, 2025 |
![]() | Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Pros: Lightweight, compact, eye-catching, crisp satisfying Cons: chromatic aberrations sometimes evident Opinion: Kept for a few months but after finding that the chromatic aberrations, in some cases a little more extreme, jumped out at the eye (green and red on the blurred keys of the PC keyboard for example) I replaced it. I also got the cash back discount even if late to the 2 months declared but in the end I preferred the 28-60 of sony for my street. For 500 euros I expected more than a little more brightness which you are forced to give up using at least an f4 to avoid the defect sent on April 04, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Pros: Sharpness, versatility, stabilization, fast autofocus and bulk. Cons: not smooth zooming. Opinion: Mounted on Sony a6600 E-mount, I wanted an "all-rounder" lens but that would not disappoint for autofocus, stabilization and close-up since I also use it at flower fairs and exhibitions where a bit of close-up shooting often happens. Sufficiently light and, if you get the hang of the not very smooth zoom, you quickly reach the desired frame (a quarter turn from 18 to 300).obviously it is a bit dark since it starts from f 3.5 but like many other super-zooms, nothing less. However, in fact, a stop compared to lenses that are still within affordable prices (paid new 460 euros). Today it costs much more but it all happened in the space of a few months. The photos taken of the butterflies and the moon make what I'm saying well, I don't know if other brands are better but I can say that I have bought many Tamrons, already with film cameras and they have never disappointed me too much In particular the 100-400 on Nikon, the 70-300 and on Sony 6600 (replaced only because I had not yet framed the focal length I preferred). sent on December 22, 2024 |
![]() | Viltrox AF 33mm f/1.4 Pros: Mechanics, optics, maneuverability and even aesthetics in my humble opinion. Cons: If I enlarge the letters of the PC keyboard photographed at f1.4 and start to blur forward, they are "outlined" with red and back with blue, (chromatic aberration?) By closing the aperture, already at f2 they disappear Opinion: Even if it has few comments on the web, I immediately noticed, especially from the photos of beginners like me, that this lens brought out the potential it is capable of.. (Don't call it "glass, please). Imperceptible aberration, "macro" sharpness, pleasant blur nuances and stability thanks to the metal of which it is built. I posted my kitten in the dark with dilated pupils to show that she was in the dark and I was thrilled. The "shots" for the apertures are missing but what are they for if it can be driven by the camera body in A? sent on November 25, 2024 |
![]() | Sony A6600 Pros: Lightness, pocketability, software, battery life, eyepiece all on the left, customization and optics.. and the integrated stabilizer that lightens the optics even in terms of cost! Cons: I state that I do not make films in a pretentious way. The front wheel is easy to press by mistake. Opinion: Forced to lighten the load because of the tennis elbow he had to change my beloved 7,500 Nikon with the Sony in particular I found the 6,600. The seller had warned me that it was a bit of a complex machine and that understanding it right away would be complicated. Actually, given my previous job as a camera repairer, I immediately accepted the challenge. I immediately liked everything about this machine despite the complexity but with the help of the operating manual I gradually solved all my doubts. The thing that amazed me the most was the ability of the software to fix even your mistakes so that the photo always looks better than you set it. As a result, post-production is almost irrelevant, there are few things to correct and so even today, after a good six months, I am appreciating it one hundred percent. sent on October 24, 2024 |
![]() | TTArtisan APS-C 50mm f/1.2 Pros: Cost Cons: Chromatic aberrations in backlight Opinion: Taken to immortalize a wedding that lasted until the evening so I wanted it very bright, and so it turned out. To avoid the "wide open" but with the sony A6600 with stabilizer and focus highlighter, I was able to make many blurred backgrounds but with subjects always well sharp, until the evening. I would say that all in all a small video did well despite my inability to carry out this task in all friendship towards my niece. I highly recommend it as I know I don't waste money sent on July 02, 2024 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix TZ200D / ZS200D Pros: Compact, pocket-sized, battery life, Post focus, 4K photo, from fully automatic (iA), to fully manual including focusing. Intelligent zoom (from 360 to 720 and digital up to 1400 (loss of definition)Electronic viewfinder can be managed with diopter, brightness, T color. Tilting flash on the ceiling. Physical and on-display programmable keys. Programmable front dial. Excellent movies also in clips, programmable intervals. 800€ approx. It has 3 fully customizable memories and 3 customizable contrasts memories Cons: Fixed display Opinion: As soon as I got it I was a bit scared about the menus but already with a little help visible on the display I left. Then, I downloaded the complete manual, immediately started using it in an interactive way and I took off. I don't know how much better its competitor is but, apart from the articulated display, I didn't notice anything else. It costs 300 € less and they assured me that the assistance works very well. Hopefully. For sure if it came out with an articulated display I would buy it again because, even if it has extra lighting for when you hold it off (above the crowd) it is not the same. As soon as possible I will publish the first photos I don't think I know all of it yet because just yesterday I discovered the zebra pattern that live, shows you the overexposed areas to the extent you want Of the competitor there are complaints about the battery that lasts a short time. sent on February 08, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon Coolpix A1000 Pros: All-rounder with an infinite number of modes, electronically controlled MAF also manual, reversible flash for indirect lighting, electronic viewfinder with diopter, excellent stabilizer even at 800mm, programmable buttons and 2 silver and black colors. Creative programs, HDR, etc etc I bought four others previously, always around 250 € like Panasonic, Lumix, even Nikon seven Mpixel, but none has ever enticed me to always carry them with me Night photos a bit poor, let's say, but with a mini stand, in Manual (really manual) are acceptable (never like the D7500 of course that is the only comparison I have) Cons: The display tends to get scratched, but I immediately remedied it with a protection that does not disturb the touch screen at all Opinion: All-rounder with an infinite number of modes, electronically controlled MAF also manual, reversible flash for indirect lighting, electronic viewfinder with diopter, excellent stabilizer even at 800mm, programmable buttons and 2 silver and black colors. ![]() | Nikon D7100 Pros: after 5100 I heard the leap that after a year gratifies me yet, the rest are technical details ... Cons: only a buffer that rarely makes me wait 2 seconds to show me the picture and I do not understand why. someone knows? Opinion: I think the fact that we also have the Alberto Ghizzi Panizza is the proof that this machine is the professional aps and, by owner and macrofotografo amateur, I did well to come back "back from full-frame (I had the D 610 ) again I thank those who sold me with a change at par (as we had spent almost the same amount) and I add that I agree with any sensor that a 'optical valuable the longer honor (ex repairer of these machines but the 80 "rnGood light! sent on January 25, 2015 |

Opinion: When the Chinese do things right ... rnOltre accessories that other danno.Inoltre I could not even buy plates 120 and 150 mm that allow me the movements back and forth balancing objectives and macro used as sled lean toward the subject, all at costs would say bassi.Inolter lock I found it better than the Manfrotto that only with the latest versions have corrected.
