![]() | Nikon AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED VR Pros: Compactness and focal range. Speed of focus and stabilization. Cons: Nobody Opinion: All-rounder objective of good overall quality. The sharpness is always excellent and is a lens that can be used at all apertures. Good minimum focusing distance and stabilization that allow you to always get sharp shots. The coverage of the angle of view is optimal ensuring coverage from a good wide angle (24mm) to a short portrait canvas (85mm). Great travel companion. sent on July 14, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon D600 Pros: Excellent image quality, excellent quality at high ISO, excellent build and ergonomic quality. Cons: A bit bulky (but it's a full frame). Juvenile problems of "dirt" on the sensor solved very well with the intervention under warranty. Opinion: Excellent camera. High image quality and excellent post-production ductility. The focusing system is precise and fast but, unfortunately, it is focused on the central part of the frame (for me that I use 95% the single point is a secondary problem). Despite being a project of 2012 it is still a reliable and pleasant camera to use. The results are guaranteed. sent on July 14, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-T30 Pros: Compact and lightweight. Excellent quality files. Cons: Focus system valid but not excellent. The front wheel control does not have good feedback. Opinion: Excellent camera. Small and light but at the same time complete and full of features. The sensor is the same as the XT-3 and produces files of excellent quality. The resistance to high ISO is also good (then with the latest algorithms available in Lightroom in practice it is excellent up to 6,400). I only use RAW files but the available color profiles provide great files directly in the machine. The malleability of the images and the detail provided are excellent and even if the exposure is not perfect it is always possible to overturn the result in post. A real pleasure to carry around, along with the 16-80/4 represents a superb combination in the travel photo. sent on July 14, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 Pros: Very compact, very light and well built. Good sharpness at all apertures. Cons: Minimum focusing distance and autofocus noise, lack of aperture ring. Opinion: Excellent optics. Compact and lightweight, with good rate of fire (much less valid with AF-C). Excellent sharpness at all apertures. Mounted on a lightweight body (X-T20, X-T30 and X-E4) it is extremely portable and functional. The angle of view and perspective are extremely pleasant and natural. A gorgeous pancake. Among the negative notes it must be said that the aperture ring is missing (present in the new version that is also tropicalized) and the manual focus ring is not particularly pleasant. sent on July 14, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Pros: Nice excursion "TELE", good compactness and maneuverability. Excellent image rendering. Cons: Minimum focusing distance. (maybe today I would prefer the 70-300 but I've never tried it) Opinion: Excellent telephoto lens. It covers all needs ranging from short to medium telephoto also offering the possibility of reaching 200mm which are more than enough for general use. Excellent sharpness. Focusing speed not lightning fast but more than adequate. At the minimum focal length it also has a good maximum brightness that is not excessively reduced to all focal lengths. A great travel companion. sent on July 14, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 16-80mm f/4 R OIS WR Pros: Excellent focal range, excellent stabilization and good focusing speed Cons: Dimensions and weight not too small Opinion: A great travel companion. With a single lens you can face any situation. Good sharpness and yield over the entire focal range, obviously it is a lens to live not to put under the microscope. Good constant brightness, f / 4 is not exceptional but turns out to be a good compromise and at close distances also allows you to detach the subject well from the background. However, its privileged field of action is travel. I mount the 16-80 and I never take it off, now I only bring my X-T30 and he, with a good SKYLIGHT mounted, and I leave the rest at home. Great choice. sent on July 14, 2023 |
