![]() | Nikon AF 20mm f/2.8 D Pros: Sharp if diaphragmato, light, bright and with typical AFD colors. Cons: Born for analog where it was almost perfect, now some ailments show it, but just diaphragm. Opinion: It is still a beautiful glass, it fits in your pocket and weighs nothing, the sharpness in the center is superb, at the edges to TA is no longer in the analog era, but from f: 5.6 it recovers great. Distorts a little, good but not excellent flare tightness. My specimen bought new in the 90s has a rather silent AF, it will not be a lightning bolt of war but it never fails. I don't think I'll sell it. RATING: 9 sent on June 17, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon AF 180mm f/2.8 D ED IF Pros: All. Cons: Put all the pros together and then see if you can find a Cons... Opinion: Bought new exactly thirty years ago, it lived mounted in front of analog SLR ladies and several digital cameras. It still manages to surprise me, once mounted on the body I know that the photo will always come out sharp. Small, very light, bright, always sharp, impeccably built. It has no internal MAF and stabilizer, but Holy Heavens! Eight ounces of glass and metal and today you find it used at ridiculous prices. VOTE 10. sent on June 17, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon D700 Pros: My first FF, great sensor, great files also in JPEG. Cons: An FF of other times now, but it still works great. Opinion: Purchased new in 2010, my first FF, I immediately found it fantastic, it was exactly what it did for me, having already a large amount of Nikon, AF, AFD and AI optics was perfect, sharp, complete and with a sensor that gives colors that in landscapes are still beautiful today, great battery, it grips rather well and for those who come from Nikon everything is intuitive. Defects? In some ways it is outdated, but if you have to take pictures think and you do not have to freeze the MILLENNIUM FALCON that passes you next to tablet is still excellent. I still use it with satisfaction, every now and then I have it cleaned and calibrated and she goes! VOTE 9. sent on February 11, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon D780 Pros: All Cons: Someone may need the built-in flash, I don't. Opinion: I bought it new recently, evaluating the pros and cons of the ML and taking into account the various F bayonet lenses in my possession, I still chose a SLR. It is a kind of hybrid between SLR and ML and despite using it for a few months every day I find some new function, maybe I don't need it but there is. Excellent robustness, waterproof, fast and accurate AF, my hands are... Two spades! And he held it like a glove, excellent display, nuclear life battery, excellent viewfinder, the flash is missing but I never use it, moreover its tightness to high ISO is incredible, also its absence makes it more tropicalized. Beautiful files also in JPEG, excellent sharpness, for the kind of photos I take (landscapes, rural images) rather thought, I hardly feel the need to crop, with my bright Nikon AFD is perfect. In short, he will stay with me for a long time! RATING: 10. sent on December 31, 2022 |
![]() | Nikon D80 Pros: Naturalness of the CCD sensor, using it is like Linus' blanket! Cons: Taking into account the past time I would say nothing apart from the yield over 800 ISO. Opinion: Bought new in 2008 as a second body, used little until it was mothballed for some time and finally exhumed to my great satisfaction about 18 months ago. It is of a disconcerting simplicity of use compared to the latest novelties, yet in landscapes and portraits, using good bright optics, it offers very enjoyable files with excellent colors and excellent sharpness despite only 10 MPX. If you use a little attention in the shots you avoid cropping by not making too much regret cameras with sensors more pixelated. My advice is not to go beyond 800 ISO under penalty of an overall decay not easily correctable in PP. Now it acts as a squire to a D780, but I use it much more often than in the past. sent on December 30, 2022 |
