![]() | Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Distagon T* 25mm f/2.8 Pros: Almost crystal-clear optics, the construction feels robust Cons: Over-wide aperture vignetting for a 24mm 2.8 Opinion: ZF version. It's the only Zeiss I've ever tried, so I don't have any terms of comparison. Very beautiful and robust optics, crystalline, and greatly emphasizes the green of the vegetation. The vignetting at full aperture is a bit too much for the lens type, and it's clearly visible in the viewfinder. For the rest it has an excellent yield, and makes you want to take other zeiss. sent on May 02, 2025 |
![]() | Nikon D610 Pros: Image quality, lightweight, recognizes all Nikon lenses from AI to the latest af-s E, incredible shadow and underexposure recovery, many adjustments Cons: Not a great viewfinder, too contrasty base files, entry-level construction Opinion: The first impact was not entirely positive: while before I almost immediately got images that were already well balanced (Fuji S5) here I had to lose some time switching from raw, as the jpegs are not great, inferior to those of the Fuji S5. The starting file seems a bit pumped, and the colors don't excite me much, and neither does the rendering of the leather. The recovery of underexposure and shadows is crazy. Light construction, but it weighs just right, and I don't feel it on the neck. Even the viewfinder doesn't seem much to me for a fullframe. I am only quite satisfied, but I think it is also because I still have to understand how to exploit its potential. sent on September 17, 2024 |
![]() | Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM Pros: "Bright", very sharp in close-up, 14mm also covers the fullframe, looks robust Cons: Good enough on aps-c, Front/back focus Opinion: I took it because I was totally uncovered on the wide-angle side, and then used it sporadically. I have also always found it uncomfortable to use the wide-angle with the reflex viewfinder. With live view I can find the frame more easily. Since from 14mm onwards it covers the FullFrame format, I'm testing it on Nikon D610, but the autofocus doesn't work despite the lens has the hsm motor, while it works on other bodies, even the autofocus film ones. Surely there is better for both aps-c and fullframe, but I don't have a yardstick for now. sent on September 17, 2024 |
![]() | Manfrotto zaino per reflex, laptop, obiettivi, piccolo (MB MA-BP-A1) Pros: Compact size, quite comfortable. Perfect for a micro 4/3 kit Wide support base Cons: ... Small non-photographic upper compartment. Roomy only for small trousseau. Opinion: If taken for what you need it is excellent, only a little overpriced, but definitely less than the latest Tamrac backpacks that look like shopping bags. It seems to be built for a micro 4/3 kit or other kits that are always very compact. In the non-photographic compartment there is the right thing. The PC pocket is excellent. Having a wide support base, it remains upright when placed on the ground. Very good. Vote 7 only because there is no more capacious version. sent on July 04, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon F100 Pros: It is the Reflex, beautiful, solid, reliable Cons: Not received Opinion: Among the (few) machines I have used it is the best, but not only because I have few comparisons, it is that I really enjoyed it! It accepts all nikkors from Ai up to af-s vr, solid body, heavy but agile, wide and bright viewfinder, falls well in the hand, a real pleasure to use it... and it is also a beautiful object. Le a give a full 10. sent on May 02, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon AF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED IF Pros: Pretty good in the daytime. Versatile during a trip or vacation, it solves almost any situation. Small and discreet (if black). Backlash-free construction. Very light... Cons: ... too light, micro blur always lurking. Optically it does not excel, it loses contrast and detail especially at the corners by increasing the focal length. Versatile yes but then you feel like changing it for something much better. Opinion: Taken for just over € 50 in the silver version (the indiscreet version :-D ). Wide versatility given the focal range, and closed it has the same footprint as an 18-55! It has a nice minimum focus of 0.44m, which however must be used carefully to get something good, i.e. very small aperture, fast shutter speed if handheld, or tripod. On Nikon D610 it's not bad, but it takes attention and a very steady hand to use it at maximum focal length without creating micro-blur. Also excellent on aps-c sensor. Ok during the day, for trips and holidays and in situations where you can't change your lens (a boon). But then you feel the need for something else... sent on April 09, 2024 |
![]() | Panasonic G80 / G81 / G85 Pros: Good image quality, robust, lightweight and compact Cons: High iso yield, sometimes the stabilizer. Opinion: Perfect size, it fits very well, sturdy, tropicalized. Really good photo and video quality. I had it for a few months along with a m.zuiko 40-150/4-5,6 R. It was the kit that made me get to know and enjoy the micro 4/3. Even with the 14mm pana was a good match. I only tried the videos so much to make them and still they seemed really good. In short, it does a little bit of everything, it does it quite well. sent on July 11, 2023 |
![]() | Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R Pros: Lightweight, compact, sharp Cons: I didn't find any considering the type of lens Opinion: Used for a few months combined with a panasonic g80, it was a revelation for me that I had never even used the micro 4/3 system. Used in good light it has flattering results that I really didn't expect, even in close-up shots. At full aperture it does better than other lenses in the same category. I didn't find any chromatic aberrations either. Considering the second-hand price and what it offers, I can only recommend it. sent on July 11, 2023 |
