Pros: cost, stabilization, ergonomics, tropicalization, weight and a not bad file quality.

Cons: Contrasting AF, sometimes indecisive and treacherous. okay... rightly so being m4/3 rendered at a slightly higher ISO.

Opinion: I squeezed it in all sauces, I took this camera to approach the mirrorless world a little (I started with a reflex). It's my second camera and I have to say I'm happy with it. Because for those who want to do school and start with photography it can be there. Such a small body with the relative optics then assigned make it comfortable for travel. I found it really good for photos in urban contexts such as historic cities or other. Photos of still subjects, not moving, even if it still does well with the right light. For landscapes, with a little braketing you get interesting stuff out. Photos of animals, insects is there on the whole. In a sports context I don't recommend it, because the AF is not fast at all and it is difficult to follow a subject. I managed to pull up something valid, but between multiple shots there are very few focused almost 100%. Once, despite selecting the focus area, it happened to me that the camera did not focus where I wanted, this happened in a scene where there was contrast (not high) and what I had to frame was in shadow. So the advice I give you, use the AF for contexts a little more lively in high light conditions and where there are no shadows for example given by trees etc ... Manual focus nothing to say, wonderful focus peaking. The yield at ISO, well, is not its strong point because of the sensor but in my opinion at 3200 the files are still acceptable. Very good stabilization, nothing to say. The videos, on the other hand, are there, too bad for the absence of flat profiles, but in terms of image it still starts very well. The AF in the video is lazy, sometimes a little indecisive, but in contexts that are not very dynamic and lively it still does its job. The battery, for the use I make of it, I can keep it charged for quite a long time. But I recommend that you buy some spare because it can make a difference. Ergonomically, very comfortable grip and key layout. The articulated screen is very comfortable. I see a little dark and with a lot of sun and you can't understand the scene well. Something more would certainly have been useful for mpx, but given the year in which it came out and the m4/3 sensor it is honest.

Pros: Perfect size. Light. Tropical. Good viewfinder. Very good stabilizer. Very good sensor performance

Cons: Af not a lightning bolt but still decent. RAW images on poorly defined displays (absurd this thing). You have to shoot in RAW +JPEG to see them sharp. Keys a bit flush with the body

Opinion: If it had an afc like the oly em1 MK2 it could be my ultimate machine. To this day, I still find it with perfect ergonomics. Pleasant to use. It's not a top-of-the-range but with the 12-60 and the 100-300ii it makes a system in line with the micro philosophy. If you want, you can also put the Leica 9mm 1.7 in it and I would say that it is a nice travel kit. All light, with a fair cost and with excellent yield.

Pros: Compact, excellent ergonomics, fast (not very precise) contrast AF, stabilized sensor, battery and SD in separate compartments, incredible price on used

Cons: Built-in flash not usable bounce, some buttons awkward because they are soft and flush with the body, AF unsuitable for fast-moving subjects, battery life

Opinion: A Gx80 in a slightly larger reflex-like body, therefore with better ergonomics. Even when you shoot, it proves to be more responsive. Very good screen (bright even in the sun, very smooth, perfect touch), although unfortunately for me flipping on two axes (I prefer tilt only) the construction seems quite sturdy and the hinge is larger than what is found, for example, on Canon bodies. Lots of physical and non-physical controls, several customizable, large and very soft dials. Curiously, the buttons on the back are great on the Gx80 and awkward here (too soft and not very protruding). The battery lasts longer than its smaller sister but remains scarce, and the viewfinder is larger and more comfortable. It's a pity that the built-in flash is not flip-up (and therefore usable by bouncing off the ceiling) as in the Gx80, but it is the usual reflex-like useless for me. Customizable AF but still unable to keep up with fast-moving subjects. Unlike its little sister, there is no shutter lag... Or at least I don't perceive any. The great touch helps to move the focus point quickly and accurately. With static subjects as usual the micro 4/3 is exceptional, thanks to the bright lenses and the large pdc that combined with the exceptional stabilization (with the 45mm I have handheld shots of 1 second in focus) allow you to keep the iso always quite low, in the useful range of the "small" sensor. Given the price at which it is used, it is recommended especially for those who want to contain weight and size without sacrificing ease of use and quality.

Pros: Good image quality, robust, lightweight and compact

Cons: High iso yield, sometimes the stabilizer.

Opinion: Perfect size, it fits very well, sturdy, tropicalized. Really good photo and video quality. I had it for a few months along with a m.zuiko 40-150/4-5,6 R. It was the kit that made me get to know and enjoy the micro 4/3. Even with the 14mm pana was a good match. I only tried the videos so much to make them and still they seemed really good. In short, it does a little bit of everything, it does it quite well.

Pros: Pretty much everything. small, robust tropicalized, economical, etc .. more beautiful

Cons: a little bit the yield at high ISO - if it had animal recognition it would be perfect

Opinion: What can I say? A truly excellent product, it costs little and returns files of excellent quality, so much so that they are practically not distinguishable from those produced by the G9, which I have. Lightweight, fantastic ergonomics, double stabilization, tropicalized, etc. It was the machine that introduced me to the micro 4/3 world and frankly I can do without it. She accompanies me in every outing, especially if long and tiring, without any problem, almost you do not realize you have it; And what colors, what definition. I'm really excited about it and I recommend it to all those who want to deepen the world 4/3 without fainting.
