Pros: Image quality, lightweight, recognizes all Nikon lenses from AI to the latest af-s E, incredible shadow and underexposure recovery, many adjustments

Cons: Not a great viewfinder, too contrasty base files, entry-level construction

Opinion: The first impact was not entirely positive: while before I almost immediately got images that were already well balanced (Fuji S5) here I had to lose some time switching from raw, as the jpegs are not great, inferior to those of the Fuji S5. The starting file seems a bit pumped, and the colors don't excite me much, and neither does the rendering of the leather. The recovery of underexposure and shadows is crazy. Light construction, but it weighs just right, and I don't feel it on the neck. Even the viewfinder doesn't seem much to me for a fullframe. I am only quite satisfied, but I think it is also because I still have to understand how to exploit its potential.

Pros: Image quality

Cons: Weight

Opinion: I've owned it for long. Practically I am both collector and photographer. I took it just to have an FF, even if used, as I was already satisfied with the M4/3 (and also with the two Aps-c SLRs). But out of curiosity I bought this and a pair of optics and I fell in love with it: now I only use this anymore! Incredibly, between the D610, the fixed Af-s 50/1.8 and two vintage zoom 28-80-/3.3 and 28-200/3.5 I do everything I need. Unfortunately it weighs much more than the other systems but the 24mpx of this camera satisfy me to the extra-great. They are used at affordable prices and in my opinion they are worth much more than you pay for it. I do not add technical details or strengths / weaknesses of which others have already written but I emphasize the fact that the D610, today, can be summed up in four words: little expense, a lot of yield!

Pros: Despite the weather it defends itself in a big way

Cons: For the reasons of the pro, given the current evaluations, I do not find any!

Opinion: I wanted to buy it years ago, but it cost too much and then I took a top APSC, since I already had a small one and I could use its photographic kit. Today everyone wants the mirrolles, I tried it, tried again, but nonostrante recognize that they have many qualities, overall they do not satisfy me, I do not like them and then I looked for my used D610 and with pasienza I found it, almost new, used very little and with painstaking care, given its objective state, complete with optics, at a really good price. What can I say, a dream come true thanks to mirrolles, because those who gave it to me switched to that photographic system! The camera is robust, the files are simply spectacular, with excellent high ISO tightness and great dynamic range. I did some tests with very little light at aperture priority f / 9 and I arrived at ISO 6400 without any problem, excellent sharpness and colors. It's true the new is not this, but what do you want to do with it, I like it!

Pros: is an SLR.

Cons: wb, sensor getting dirty, af disappointing, viewfinder unwatchable.

Opinion: the wb, has strange colors - magenta -blue, the sensor gets dirty a lot even without changing optics, af no sport, birdlife, little light, and the viewfinder goes hand in hand. it is not a professional SLR but not even amateur (for this there are SLRs with the same output better) with this everything in the middle in my opinion is without a soul.

Pros: To be a semi pro it is robust, simply spectacular rows with excellent sealing at high ISO and great dynamic range.

Cons: With little contrast the AF goes a little into trouble, but I think it is a "will" of Nikon as if they had given this camera a more sensitive AF, it would certainly have eroded the sales of the older sisters (D8XX series).

Opinion: I've had this camera for several years, replacing the D600 for the known problems, and I have to say it's a fantastic camera. It churns out files that need little post, unlike the older sister I have (D800, fantastic machine too) which has a more neutral file and therefore needs more work. Yes, the autofocus in a situation of strong contrast, or total absence, goes a little in difficulty but you take 99% of the photos. Combined with my 70/200 VRI I took pictures of sports (enduro bike) without any problem, it does not miss a shot. The focus points are central but you get used to it quietly. I often use it in combination with my 300 AFS VRII and the yield of the files is spectacular, but the yield with the 24/70 AFS f2:8 that I have is equally spectacular. To this day, if one does not need to have the focus point at the edges like the mirrorless sisters, for me it is a highly recommended camera.
