Pros: All

Cons: To be picky, it has too many adjustments.

Opinion: Before the D610 I had the D700, which was already great, this is better, not only for the quality / price ratio. With high quality optics the image quality is excellent, never had problems with the autofocus, even in dark environments, excellent general reactivity, the 6 fts and the 1/4000 "are enough and advance even for uses -professional- knowing what you do, very robust, I fell more than once, and was exposed to the weather, without ever giving problems.

Pros: Sensor, ergonomics, number of lenses available, cost of used specimens, suitable to start exploring the world of FF.

Cons: Autofocus, sharpness, in general it is an operationally slow machine, the sensor gets dirty, only 1/4000.

Opinion: It has a wonderful color gamut and a quality sensor with which you can work without problems even at very high ISOs. The resolution also allows important crops without losing detail, the file is very workable. Unfortunately, the big flaw of this machine is the general reactivity. The AF works well only in bright light, in dim light and with low light you throw away many, too many shots. It's a tripod machine. Even the sharpness is not the best, although it also depends on the lens with which you shoot. Suitable for thoughtful and comfortable shots, therefore: no street, no sport, no fauna. Its quality shows it in studio portraits, with studied lights, the sensor returns a good softness and slight tonal passages. It is probably the field in which he does best with the landscape. I bought it used for mere curiosity, kept very well paid little, almost as a gift. Honestly the fact that it is FF does not compensate for the low overall performance of the machine, especially of the AF module, whose points are all central and with little light it never hooks well. What is the use of a beautiful sensor if the camera does not shoot? I prefer a noisy photo to a blurry one. In the end I don't feel like recommending her, she does everything quite well, but nothing really well.

Pros: Ergonomics, RAW file quality, robustness, dual SD slots, good ISO seal

Cons: AUTOFOCUS never accurate. Very limited and inaccurate autofocus points, it is better to make do with manual focus to reduce the shots to be thrown away, Live view unusable for night photos or at dusk. Saleability

Opinion: The Nikon d610 is in itself an excellent full frame considering the cost. However, it is not reliable as far as autofocus is concerned. I recommend it to landscapers who have plenty of time to focus manually. I do not recommend it to Wildlife photographers, sportsmen and portraitists. Getting 7 out of 10 photos wrong at a wedding wouldn't be the best. I tried to resell it to RCE but it is not interested. I will keep it until you decide not to shoot anymore

Pros: File quality, iso seal, dynamic range (fantastic sensor), tropicalization, dual sd slots, ergonomics

Cons: No preview of exposure in live view, some models are not really exempt from the problem of excessive dirt on the sensor present on the D600

Opinion: Currently, September 2021, I think I can not be denied by saying that it is the best full frame in terms of value for money, perhaps not only from Nikon. Amazing sensor. Infinite dynamic range, excellent iso seal. Massive, tropicalized. Heavy pecca for those like me who do almost only landscape (and night) and often on a tripod does not look in the viewfinder: the lack of preview of exposure in live view (the variation of aperture is manifested by turning off and on the live view, iso and times have no effect on the LV preview). Given the price at which it is currently located, I would buy (maybe I will) a second one to have 2 camera bodies and always keep at hand wide angle pushed and medium canvases during excursions, to minimize changes in optics in humidity and wind conditions and try to keep it cleaner. Sore note the latter: some models suffer from dirt on the sensor, reading on the net (also here itself) many complain of too many (and too frequent) stains on the sensor, which go beyond the dirt that of course sometimes ends up in it during changes of optics. Unfortunately I am among them, my sensor gets dirty more than the sensors of the cars of all my hiking photographer friends. Patience, I had a good reason to learn how to clean it well and now I do it periodically. The baked files do not fear any comparison with those of more modern and much more expensive machines, and it is the feature that most interests me and makes me use this machine with pleasure.

Pros: Solid, dynamic range, high iso yield, dual slot, economical, yield with af-d lenses, sensor, addictive

Cons: Iso key in uncomfortable position, low light, maf points too central, 1\\4000

Opinion: Bought during the year of release and still today I use it as the main machine. Very reliable on every genre I made, from macro to nocturnal, from portraiture to fauna. It keeps the noise at high iso without problems of any kind, 6400 I use it normally without fear and if necessary I also go up (today it may seem normal, but she is from 2013...) Superb dynamic range and the great double slot sd for long shots or backups. It is addictive, I have found myself so well with her that I am afraid to change her risking that with another machine I would not have the same results and the same very high satisfactions, unfortunately her flaw are the maf points maybe few, but above all too close to each other, in conditions of poor light, she struggles to focus a little. Now it is used at very affordable prices and stands up to today's machines without suffering from the result of the final file, I recommend it to everyone. If you really want to be picky, it doesn't reach 1\\8000
