sony_fe200-600Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS

Pros: Internal zoom, zoom ring with little travel, weight balance, multiplier compatibility, sharpness, cost

Cons: Footsie

Opinion: A must have lens on sony machines. I use it with sony A7III. Really good sharpness and, all in all, for what it costs now it's fine, there's no point in going to other competing zooms now in 2024. The thing I love most of all is the convenience of going from 200 to 600 with 1/4 rotation and of course the internal zoom so zero dust, zero weight imbalances. Excellent compatibility with teleconverters (I recommend the 1.4x) The only drawback is the foot, small. Unfortunately at 600mm it's an f6.3 but for this price it's fine like this, even with iso at 12800 with noise reduction programs the quality remains. For the rest, excellent optics for birdlife and sports in general.

samyang_af45_f1-8feSamyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE

Pros: Sharpness, cost, weight

Cons: a swiffer

Opinion: Objective that for the cost it has and the sharpness could already have a vote of 9. A focal length different from the usual 50 that allows you to have different visions. I came from the classic 50 sony but I must say that the af is much faster and quieter. Really high quality, a bit plastic but it's fine. Bag always appreciated that I need a lot especially when I go trekking and I have to change goals. As a weight, you don't even feel it. The only drawback in my opinion but maybe it's mine, I don't know, the dust, it looks like a swiffer that attracts it all. All in all, however, it is perfectly fine.

tamron_70-180_f2-8iiiTamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD

Pros: Sharpness, weight, fast af, price

Cons: Definitely nothing at this price

Opinion: Sublime optics. (I use it on sony A7III) Excellent sharpness, af never uncertain, weight compared to other lenses of similar focal length really zero. Of defects has none for this price, you can make portraits with a bokeh always excellent and honestly the lack of stabilization is not felt at all (perhaps also because when I have to do long times I always put on tripod) having a camera body that does not suffer the high iso I have no problems. Also used in harsh climatic conditions such as fog and snow at the same time and performs very well. Beautiful optics that I recommend especially to those who do trekking (because of the weight) and for those who make portraits. For nature photography you can do well even if you are a little short (not born for this obviously). For sports photos I still have to try it, maybe I'll update the review. If you look in my profile many photos are made with this lens.

samyang_af18_f2-8feSamyang AF 18mm f/2.8 FE

Pros: Weight, autofocus and overall quality

Cons: lens hood, lens cap

Opinion: Spectacular lens, low weight, excellent autofocus and little distortion. I consider it perfect for landscape photography. With this lens I took many pleasant photos. The weight is the fundamental part because those like me who go to the mountains or otherwise walk a lot having a light and performing lens (even maybe with some defect) is more than fine. Great for video. Negative note certainly the hood useless or almost and the lens cap that does not hook well (maybe it's only in mine but I have to put it and remove it several times because it is well fixed) Ps. Update the firmware to the last released so it will make the most

sony_fe50_f1-8Sony FE 50mm f/1.8

Pros: sharpness, weight, PRICE

Cons: Focus noise

Opinion: For the price to which it is sold you should not even look at the defects. But I can say after 5 months of use that it is a nice all-rounder, sharp and that even with little light pulls out very nice photos. Focus noise is annoying (especially for videomakers) and slow. But all in all for this price is to have absolutely. Compared to the 55zeiss you do not perceive the difference

sony_a7iiiSony A7 III

Pros: ISO seal, weight, af speed, sharpness

Cons: menu

Opinion: An almost perfect machine, the only drawback is the complex menu but after a couple of months I managed to master it. Perhaps also because of the many functions it has, many criticize it but it is because they have never read the manual and I am sure they do not know how to use it fully. After 5 months of use every day I can say that I was able to understand 90% of the whole. It has a sharpness and an iso hold out of the ordinary. Fantastic af and space af tracking. Great car, in 10 years I think it will still be excellent.
