Pros: Price , Weight , Sharpness

Cons: Don't have it

Opinion: I took this lens at 190 € at the physical store in Catania and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised . Contrary to what I read in previous posts, the AF is quite fast and even when the light is low, it should be noted that I only take photos and do not make videos. I use it on an A7 III and it is advisable to use it on modern bodies to have a fairly performing AF. As sharpness it is good in the center at almost all focal lengths, a little less at the edges but at an almost imperceptible level. To conclude I say that at this price it is a lens that every amateur and professional should have in his backpack and that is worth much but much more than it costs .

Pros: Very sharp ,cheap, light,sony

Cons: Absolutely nothing for this price

Opinion: Absolutely a perfect, light and overeconomic goal...... is worth much but much more than its price. It's absolutely sharp, with my a7r iv it takes spectacular pictures. Those who talk about it badly are probably a photographer of dubious quality. I've tried it in different situations and it's always been up to it. You see the video on youtube with the 55 test that costs 500 euros more

Pros: compact and light, sharp, good contrast, pleasant blurry.

Cons: Economic construction, a little slow and insecure to very closed diaphragms.

Opinion: Considering that it is less than 200 euros and that a 50mm "battle" always comes well I would say that it is an optics to have. Full-aperture sharpness is acceptable in the center and poor at the edges, improves significantly to f2.8, between f5.6 and 11 from the maximum and there shows great skills, not bad at f16 and acceptable at f22. Contrast (and microcontrasto) is always good, even blurry is not bad. Autofocus is a bit slow and a bit noisy, but not tragic (reading other reviews was the thing that worried me the most), with the A7rII struggling beyond f11. The optics are very compact and beautiful light, dowry not to be underestimated since it is mounted on an ML. In short, putting everything on the plate my judgment is positive, especially if it is related to the really attacking price.

Pros: Lightweight, versatile, small, very low price for Full Frame

Cons: he just lacks a smaller focus distance

Opinion: I will be sincere and hairless on my tongue. A crisp 50mm FullFrame 1.8 even at sony's original 200 euro TA you can't help but buy. I always try to try the optics for what I really am and not to hear, as I do on my channel https://www.youtube.com/c/LucaMelilloLights The Sony 50ino I always use it when I have to go out light and without a backpack, always take home the photo, it is reliable and precise. The only thing he lacks is the focus distance, unfortunately at 45cm it's too much... Patience

Pros: Lightness

Cons: Compared to the equivalent canon stm costs too much. Accurate but slow for quick subjects. Audable in videos in quiet environments. Plastic that doesn't give a feeling of excessive durability

Opinion: By chance I had tried a couple of different, one at f 1.8 was not very sharp, the other was good. Alongside my sigma art 50mm that weighs a ton, especially when they are not jobs where the lens makes the difference, I took one used cheaply that at f1.8 is super sharp, otherwise I would not have taken it. Obviously at the edges you don't have to expect the same quality, but it is comparable to all 50mm 1.8 of the latest generation (except the Z that is on a world apart) The bokeh is bubble, nothing creamy anyway pleasant, in line with the price range. On my a7III is fine and they are all precisely in focus. The af engine is stable and precise, the only flaw if you have to make a near-distant fire change and vice versa, it takes a while compared to a more expensive goal. At the end of the story, all right? Yes, but only if you catch a sharp specimen. Great if you want to go light. If you have money to spend there is also the 45mm samyang that has a decidedly nice bokeh, but those 5mm make the difference, in the end they do not overlap.
