nikon_d4Nikon D4

Pros: Sturdy, design, feeling of grip, features, Live View great, really nice engraving, infinitely customizable, and then well ... sound reasonable, and excellent burst.

Cons: Disturbing the possibility of not being able to turn off the preview display in Live View mode, some hot pixels too much exposure in a few seconds at high ISO, my has the problem of the AF module.

Opinion: It 's my first car top of the range. The feeling nell'impugnarla was immediate: comfortable for your hands and sturdy without compromise. It 'so nice to hold in your hand that you forget the weight. Each button is in the right place and change parameters is fast and allows you to not distract from the scene. Engraving incredibly detailed, clean, states: preparing prints also 1m long edge are obtained extraordinary results for a 16 mpix. The sound does not exist in the case of rapid shooting with light-medium low even at 6400 ISO. Take to the pitch dark with times of several seconds generates low noise with some hot pixels too, but easily removable. The live view is amazing so much so that, once imparatolo to good use, I can focus on the stars on moonless nights safely with optical 2.8 (when I was alone with the 5D Mk IIriuscivo 24 1.4 because the interpolation was too annoying). Also unlike that of D800 is incredibly reactive. It would be convenient grid some more for the live view forshots of precision. Rather annoying not being able to disable the 'preview display which means that every time you choose the aperture the machine physically close the lens: this must open a TA, focus and close all the holy times. It does naturally. The blast, needless to say is very good as well as the ability to customize anything. My unit has problems of AF, center point that is a little 'front focus with all my lenses and points left completely wrong Maf. I have a short meeting with the service for recalibration of the sensor phase detection. Finally, the design with the pentaprism crushed makes it more personally agreeable D3.

canon_15_fisheyeCanon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye

Pros: Crisp, fear, f2.8, excellent management backlighting.

Cons: The AF is noisy and the manual focus ring is hard and not very precise, the cap slips off forever.

Opinion: Clear from fear, the angles are not to be believed! Since 2.8 is used safely for the night. Excellent backlighting. It is not macro as the sigma 15mm, but is possible to obtain equally good macro acclimatized. The AF is very fast despite being old and noisy. I almost always use manual focus and the bezel is awkward and imprecise, the Sigma 15mm has a focus ring which is a dream in comparison. Said this is the best fish I've used.

canon_24-70Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM

Pros: Construction phenomenal clarity (especially TA), resistance to flare.

Cons: Corners at 24mm and 35mm, weight, lacks IS (but does not), so ... but a lot of AC

Opinion: Receptacle recently in place of 24-105. Exceptional sharpness even at 2.8. Nothing to say, is a monster lens. No flare, perfect colors and excellent contrast. Only concern: the corners at 24mm and 35mm, distinct only to f11, I will take a ride service to check that everything is ok. And 'heavy cartoon much until af 4 shows easily and AC. I much prefer the 24-105 for landscapes and portraits.

canon_16-35_v2Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM II

Pros: Build quality and colors.

Cons: sharpness in the corners at 2.8, made in 35mm lower than the rest of the focal vignetting at 16mm.

Opinion: I use this lens for landscapes for many years. Good sharpness and made the corners with small apertures. Good resistance to flare. AC controlled and almost absent. Colors and contrast ottimi.rnDistorce lot, but the landscape is not a problem ... I can get in the photography of architecture and interior design, but you know that we are slow to specifiche.rnrnLa sharpness at the edges to 2.8 is a bit 'deficient, so much that I prefer other lenti.rnrnA 35mm the sharpness is good but not comparable to the remaining focal, if not f11.rnrnConsiglio highly recommend this lens, capable of restoring images that are easy, comfortable and lightweight trasportare.rnrnAggiorno review after bought the 16-35 f4 IS: if you do not absolutely need Aperture 2.8, I recommend buying this lens as the optical performance is really on another livello.rnrnrnrnrn

canon_7dCanon 7D

Pros: AF impressive if used in the right way and with the optics, fast burst at 8 FPS

Cons: Poor recording of the sensor at high ISO, quite noisy, not intuitive to configure to have the best performance. AF point selection Automatic or zone focus despair.

Opinion: Use the 7D as a second camera to photograph birds and wildlife for about a year thanks to the convenience of the burst at 8 FPS and Crop factor 1.6x. First you have to lose a little 'time to study the manual configurations of personal' AF and see what actually changes on the field, but if you set gives good satisfaction to no end. Unusable mode automatic choice point or area: 90% of the time err fire (also huge and static subjects such as Mt Paterno). Wonderful function point AF and spot AF point expansion: extremely accurate. The noise at high ISO (well this to 400) but there is not a tragedy, what makes me very disappointed in the engraving is very low up to ISO 1600. Removing the noise the detail is mixed unlike what happens with the 5D MkII. Personally I try not to ever push beyond ISO 800. I would have preferred a 12 Mpix but with a good recording up to ISO 1600. The colors of the RAW are markedly duller than those of the 5D mkII. That said, I hope it comes out soon because I consider an upgrade this machine only a good starting point: the 7D is definitely a concentration of tenologia and quality of an APS-C never reached so far, but Canon could do better for instance by lowering Mpix and privileging the quality of recording at high ISO that often has to be used for sports, animals, birds .... photographic genres for which this machine is used by most.

canon_5d2Canon 5D Mark II

Pros: Excellent resolution. Excellent color rendering. Noise much content and excellent engraving of the sensor even at high ISO.

Cons: Autofocus older generation. Gust ridiculous. It is dirty as hell: enter dust and fluff everywhere, sensor, focusing screen but also between ocular and pentaprism.

Opinion: I use this machine for two years and I am very well: I use it with great satisfaction for landscapes and macro. You have to make compromises when photographing wildlife, birds or sports ... for this purpose at his side even if the 7D is a machine that I'm not very satisfied (see my review on 7D). The noise is extremely low: the use of normally up to ISO 3200 but you can also push to ISO 6400 when needed. Naturally he needs a good program for the reduction of noise with which it is possible to obtain clear images thanks to one of the features that I like this machine: up to ISO 3200 engraving of the sensor is great and even if you drop " grain "details remain clear and non-kneaded (unlike 7D). I speak as a press photographer for exhibitions in sizes from 30x45 least the poster.
