Scatto foto per rispondere ad un'intensa esigenza personale. Il più delle volte è un esercizio squisitamente visivo, filoestetico, che prescinde da un messaggio profondo o da particolari velleità comunicative. Credo fermamente che il valore estetico di qualcosa, o qualcuno, non sia mai banale, e trovo la bellezza anche negli scorci meno patinati, più ruvidi e ordinari. Purché qualcosa abbia del potenziale, vale la pena scattare e tirarlo fuori. Per questo rinnego le regole e gli schemi, le definizioni e gli stili, l'allineamento e le correnti, e seguo solo ciò che mi diverte, che mi piace, trovando poetica la semplice quotidianità disorganizzata e figlia delle occasioni, da autodidatta spensierato.
