Nikon Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Pros: Silent and very fast in focusing. Internal zoom and focus. Build quality and fairly low weight. Stabilization. Cons: Lens hood. Lack of ark swiss attachment. Case. Opinion: I use it with Z6iii. The rag of the case is embarrassing to say the least. For the rest I said in the pros and cons and the most important ones are all pros. Certainly not comparable with the f/4, but this one is intended for a different use. I enjoy using birdlife for its versatility and maneuverability. Positive purchase. sent on 01 Marzo 2026 |

Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4 D ED Pros: Sharpness, build quality, easy handling, hood Cons: Tripod holder Opinion: Happy owner also of the f / 2.8 I can say that in the comparison does not disfigure, especially at short distances and taking into account the difference in price. It is handy, sturdy, with minimum focusing distance for me sufficient. I use it for the stray with D500 and sometimes with 1.4 or 1.7, but I don't like multipliers. In the shed only for very short distances with D850 (excellent results) as less intrusive than 2.8. The hood is very comfortable and sufficient. I consider it almost unbeatable in the quality / price ratio on today's used. Of course it doesn't have VR, the project is dated... but I don't care. As for the support, I replaced it with kirk at the time. sent on 14 Settembre 2021 |

Benro GH2 Pros: Robustness, price Cons: Fluidity adjustment Opinion: I have been using it for a year on Gitzo tripod. It supports very well 500 f4 + Nikon 850 with bg + (when needed) tc 1.4. I would have preferred a better chance of regulating fluidity, but definitely great product and excellent quality/price. To buy without hesitation if we are interested in barbell heads. I point out that I've never tried Wimberleys. sent on 23 Aprile 2021 |
