![]() | Pentax SMC DA 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AL (IF) DC WR Pros: Well built, good sharpness, tropicalized, lens hood included, not too heavy, with the K3 well balanced. Used can be found at super prices. Cons: For now I haven't found any, it's an f3.5/5.6 but this is already known at the time of purchase, so needless to say (it's dark) Opinion: Bought used at a really good price with seller's warranty, arrived as new, certainly new I would never have taken it separately, the price of new seems exaggerated to me, but this applies to all kit lenses, either you take them with the camera or it is not convenient. However, a well-made optic, robust and tropicalized, silent in the maf and also fast. I found the colors good and well contrasted, in any case I'm still trying it well. With my K3 it is well balanced, it does not extend much, it has a good grip of the tires to the touch. For now I am satisfied. It's my first Pentax, I come from years and years of working with other brands, now I've retired and I've taken away the satisfaction of getting a Pentax, which has always been in my thoughts. sent on July 15, 2024 |
![]() | Pentax K-3 Pros: Tropicalized, stabilized sensor, double sd slot, second-hand price, for the year of release, Pentax was ahead of other more famous brands. Robustness of the machine body and materials. Excellent results at high ISO. Cons: It's called Pentax. Opinion: Taken used by a friend, I had been wanting a Pentax for a long time, always seen and followed by the keyhole, but like many others, I preferred to take other brands for work. Unfortunately and reluctantly Pentax is little followed, also because of their sales policy and little marketing. So little availability of third-party lenses and various accessories, you also want resaleability in case of up grade. Now, however, I am retired, and I am no longer interested in selling, buying and changing. I took the whim. Back at the K3, I was really impressed by the sturdiness of the camera as soon as I picked it up, the sound of the smooth shutter. The files are sharp and from tests done good performance at high ISO. Many functions that I have only seen in other brands arrive after years or at most have only on FF. It has dual SD slots, the focus as I use it is not slow at all. Always used with every camera the center point. (I feel good like this) if it is right or not, I am fine with using it in this way. Then the possibility of using old Pentax lenses without any type of adapter is not trivial, and each lens becomes stabilized, having the stabilizer on the sensor. I took it with an 18-135, also tropicalized, well balanced. What else can I say, I'm trying it, and to date I'm more than happy to have switched to this historic brand. sent on July 08, 2024 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS Pros: Lightweight, sharp, stabilized, works in tandem with the sensor stabilizer (Dual Is) fast and silent AF, tropicalized, solid construction, metal body mount. With M4/3 24/120 Cons: Call it an optical kit, and if you really want, the price in buying it separately, but you can find it used for about € 200 and even less. Opinion: A well-made all-rounder optic, often underestimated because it is sold in kits, but in my opinion it is worth all the money spent, I had two as I had bought two Lumix bodies, one of the two put on sale in a flea market and sold within a couple of hours. Very sharp, and having the double stabilization it compensates with the shutter speed without raising the ISO, in videos it is very silent in the AF. What can I say, I'm holding on to the second specimen. ? sent on April 30, 2024 |
![]() | 7artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 Fisheye II Pros: Solid construction, all in metal, even the lens cover, fluid rings, especially useful that of the diaphragms in video shooting. Very good quality/price. few homemade tests satisfied me. I reserve the right to leave a more in-depth review later, as soon as I have tried it well and externally. My version is for Micro 4/3 Cons: For now no one, for its price idem, The only cons for me is the diframmi ring too close to the camera body and makes it a little difficult to use, but somehow we make do. Opinion: Taken for Micro 4/3. very good first impression, solid construction, all metal, a little heavy compared to other lenses that I have Micro 4/3, rings with fluid movement, very convenient for video shooting that of the apertures having a movement not in jerks. I have to try it well, I just arrived, so I reserve the right to modify my review more precisely also inserting some first images. sent on December 16, 2021 |
![]() | Panasonic G80 / G81 / G85 Pros: Small and sturdy machine body, well made, grips well, (I for convenience I added the Battery Grip ) intuitive menu throughout, fast af. now at fabulous prices, tropicalized, excellent stabilization especially on used with the ois panasonic optics, which increase its effectiveness. Cons: I use it, indeed I use xchi I have two, for two years, and to date big defects I have not found, maybe the battery, but this you know before, and cmq with the savings activated, I have arrived at over 600 shots.... Opinion: I took two two years ago, and now I can do my review, use in all conditions, of light and atmospheric, used both for photos and video, I come from FF and Apsc systems, I wanted after so many years (40) to light, and I thought about the m4/3 after being well informed by those who already use it for years, fully satisfied, with bright optics and internal stabilization of the camera, there is no need to push on iso, although in the two years I have taken in some cases even up to 4/5000 iso iso , Always taken in Raw, As for the video, it is higher than its sale price.... Two years ago you pay a quarter more than they cost now, now it's really a bargain... Later one of the two I would like to replace it with a G90, or rather a G9. sent on January 15, 2020 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH Pros: Definitely the price for its qualities, Nitido, af on G80 fast. Colors Cons: plastic construction but once mounted on the machine body you don't notice anymore Opinion: Bought just over a year ago, and sold to monetize and finance the purchase of a new lens, but after about two months, I felt the lack, after all I liked, light, crisp and on Lumix G80 was fast in the af, also used for movies, great blurry, pleasant both in photos and videos, beautiful colors, everything in my opinion and taste. I've regained it. I have two Lumix G80, one with on fixed the 25mm and this time I will not make the mistake of selling it again. sent on January 05, 2020 |
