Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Pros: Brightness, bokeh, price, weight/size Cons: maybe autofocus not very fast Opinion: I started using it on an Eos m50 for portraits and sometimes for indoor sports to take advantage of the brightness. In this context the autofocus shows some small uncertainty also due to the age of the project probably. However, it allowed me to take several photos that I could not take with other canvases. When I took the 6d I discovered that on FF it really gives the maximum, especially on portraits. Having never tried anything brighter (like sigma art) I can not make comparisons but for the 220 euros that I paid for it and for an amateur use I recommend it. sent on May 03, 2022 |
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Construction,Robustness,F4 constant, sharpness, weight Cons: Nothing if you are an amateur like me Opinion: It is useless to talk about the construction as I am not competent enough to make technical judgments. It is an L series, tropicalized, constant F4 aperture, stabilized. This would be enough but then the colors it returns and the excellent sharpness already at full aperture. I use it on a 6d old and I managed to take several photos of basketball in arenas and on an eos m50 where it is a bit unbalanced for weight reasons but the results are the same. I think it's the perfect telephoto lens when you consider the size. sent on May 03, 2022 |
Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Pros: Small, stabilized, no distortion Cons: Not very bright but you know it when you buy it Opinion: Really sharp lens, well built and very light. A 16 35 equivalent in just over 200 grams that combined with my m50 become a super portable and very effective combo. The only compromise is the brightness but if you need that there are the fixed sigma or the ef m 22 f2.0. Together with the ef m 32 they perfectly match the philosophy of the M system. Absolutely to have if you have a canon ef m sent on May 03, 2022 |
Canon EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Pros: Wide focal excursion in relation to size, good quality, stabilized, sharp already at full opening up to 150 mm Cons: No one if you know what you buy Opinion: It's my all-rounder zoom I use on eos m50. Together with ef m 11 22 ef m 22 and ef m 28 they are all in a small bag with a small weight. From 55 to 150 it is already crisp at full opening (in the center at least) for my amateur needs. Paid 200 euros used is a bargain. Light but robust despite the plastic of which it is built makes it appear at first accosted like a toy. It's not an L series but given the cost/weight/size I always carry it behind and was never disappointed. Only mole, you do to say, maybe it is a little dark, but if you know what you buy you can also pass over it . sent on June 23, 2021 |
Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM Pros: Size, Weight, Value for Money Cons: nobody Opinion: Premise: it wasn't my first fixed with M-attack. I already had 11 22 ef m and preferred to buy the ef-m 28 macro before because it was also macro. Taken used at 120 euros i opened up a world. Paired with the M50 it's in the purse and so you carry everything with you even for simple family outings. The quality for an amateur like me is great as well as the f.2 opening is convenient for interiors and in the dark. I would advise him to all those who have a Canon M, indeed I think it is right to have it. sent on June 23, 2021 |
