![]() | Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Pros: Focus, price, compactness, sharpness, stabilization Cons: Nobody Opinion: For what it costs it also does too much, using it mainly for landscapes is sharp all over the frame, a f/4 is still acceptable and usable for night photos. Then it is very compact and well built, it is even smaller than the 18-55 base. The only flaws are the lack of distance scale, which can be seen as compact, and the lack of automatic/manual fire selection, which is missing on all native lenses for eos M. Combined with the M50 is a gem sent on February 01, 2020 |
![]() | Canon EOS M Pros: compactness, materials, price, image quality Cons: Single ring, few buttons, ergonomics Opinion: Had for a month and bought with respective optics kit and 22 F2 at a ridiculous price. I do not really need it, however, I am brought behind and I must say that has behaved very well with the 22 F2, AF fast but not very fast, image quality on par with Canon SLR of its time, compact and usable in many situations. Its great value is the ability to install Magic Lantern with which you can do timelapse, record video in 2.7 K, produce HDR.. All for free, things that the modern mirrorless Canon (M50 and M6) fail to do. The advice to two types of people: Who wants to start with low-cost photography and who needs a mini APS-C to take anywhere as a second body sent on February 25, 2019 |
![]() | Google Pixel 2 XL Pros: Different and original Design, camera, clean software, price, loyal colors, one room, battery Cons: Toning of whites on blue (but you get used to it right away) Opinion: At the price I paid (150 in subscription with the T * e) has no equal despite being a phone two years ago. Its strong point is the front 12 MP camera, or rather the Google software that processes the images works wonders by obtaining effects that other top of the range even today do not get. It has only one room yet it handles the "blurry" in portrait mode that other Smatphone with more rooms for depth do not get, good and sharp even the front cam. Android stock Software, very fast, responsive, does not get stuck, and thanks to the few customizations the battery makes you arrive in the evening with 30/40% (using YouTube, social, games, calls). Design in google style with a satin aluminium (?) part and one in glass and symmetrical front edges. On the screen you really find everything online, especially from people who have never tried it more than one day, the colors if set to "standard" are more real than the Samsung Ultra saturated AMOLED, however if tilted sideways the whites turn to the blue, effect Very annoying initially but already after a month I can not notice it. Excellent sound and also too powerful sent on February 25, 2019 |
![]() | Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Pros: Sharpness, focal range, silent autofocus, price, stabilizer Cons: For the price no one Opinion: For the current price I don't think there is any better in the market. I found it very sharp up to 200 mm or so, at 250 it is still sufficiently sharp in the center at full aperture. Ideal to start and understand if these focal lengths are for you. The plastic construction makes it very light and transportable, I use it with adaptor on an M50 and I have no problem with weight or imbalance contrary to what you might think. The autofocus works best on the M50 compared to the 1200d I had, I think for the new AF technology, although in low light when it does not find the correct focus continues to focalize back and forth continuously (rarely happens). I used it in landscaping and sometimes even for sports in good light conditions and I always found it good. Vignette a bit but it's all correctable in a second. ![]() | Canon EOS M50 Pros: Sensor, autofocus, ergonomics, good viewfinder, articulated display, responsive display touch, intuitive menu Cons: Missing the entrance to the Intervalometer (time lapse in room does not fall below the 1/20 s shutter). Battery. A single ring, badly constructed. Opinion: I state that I come from a Canon 1200d and I have not tried many other mirrorless. In my opinion as a value for money (paid in Kit 15 45 new 500 from a well-known site) has no equal, excellent image quality, resists high sensitivity up to 3200/6400 ISO with a little ' noise that does not go to distort the colors and sharpness (as it happened on my old A 1200d), excellent autofocus also thanks to the ability to move the autofocus point by looking in the viewfinder and touching the display (or directly from the display in Live view). Another of its strengths is the compactness, I did not expect so small but at the same time easy to hold in hand, thanks to a comfortable and relatively large grip, appearance by many underestimated.. While coming from an optical viewfinder, the digital viewfinder surprised me, no lag and very fluid. The battery lasts on the 300 shots if used constantly in live view/viewfinder, on the 400 when used in saving mode or by displaying only the shutter data in the display. The only ring nut around the button I did not like, is too "spring" when turned, also the body entirely made of plastic (sensation cheap enough) makes it clear that Canon somewhere had to save. Video side, in addition to the 4k where the autofocus is easily lost and there is an additional crop, the 1080 runs well and almost never loses fire, but it is a factor that photographers should not affect much. Edit: I noticed that there is no input for the intervalometer. You can do time lapse directly in the room but have some limitations like 900 shots maximum, no more than 36 seconds of final video, you can not get below the 1/20 s for each shot. And there are no alternatives sent on November 15, 2018 |
