sigma_56_f1-4dnSigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN C

Pros: Sharpness and microcontrast to any aperture, weight / bulk, excellent AF, great blurry ... buy it!

Cons: --

Opinion: I used this lens on an A6300 until recently, MAMMA MIA! I switched to Fuji but I regret this lens very much, but Sigma has recently launched the X-Mount version that I will soon buy hoping it will have the same yield it had on Sony. At the price at which it is sold and for the quality it has it is really something incredible. The only thing I unfortunately don't like about Sigma is the aesthetics of contemporary lenses, but who knows! Guys, if you are interested in this type of focal length for APS-C (which is equivalent to an 85FF) buy it and you will not regret it at all.

Pros: Sharpness and amazing image quality for an optics that is used at less than 100, monstrous compactness, what else to say if not, must have for APS-C? Ah, I use it on Sony, and that's all to say.

Cons: Perhaps the focus ring practically non-existent, for the rest only merits

Opinion: I have been using this lens for about 3 years on Sony bodies, I bought it with 3 months of life, so practically new, at € 85 and when I mount it on, if it were not for the adapter (Which is larger than the lens) it would seem that it is shooting without a lens. I bought it unpretentiously, but I must say that it has a really phenomenal optical quality, I do not know how it is possible sincerely that it costs so little. I really don't know what to say anymore, how can you not have it? its 36mm equivalent (on sony, on Canon are about 38) give me the opportunity to make fairly wide scenarios (Where I am not enough I go with the 12mm), but I repeat, the main value is the quality of the final shots, really impressive. Even the autofocus, although with adapter obviously goes a little in suffering in lack of light, in optimal light conditions goes very well.

samyang_12_f2ncsSamyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS

Pros: Aperture F/2, bright, really nice color rendition, quality/price, material

Cons: MAF ring does not specify (to this day I still have to understand if the focus on infinity is only offset or is a problem of my model)

Opinion: I purchased this strong lens of the very positive comments and reasonably priced price. At the beginning I had serious intention to sell it immediately, it seemed quite mixed and I had (and still are) problems with the ring of MAF. I still haven't figured out whether it's just out of the box or if it's just a problem with my model, but in many cases with focus peaking I can't tell if Infinity actually focuses or if it's not perfectly focused. As for the aperture, a f/5.6 is perfect on most of the frame, as well as from MTF. Speech colors, outdoors I realize that the color rendition is really good. Focal certainly great for vast landscapes, although, as mentioned before, I have the impression that on infinity is not perfectly in focus (but maybe it is normal given the hyperfocal). Contained dimensions and weight also. Lens hood included all in all good.

canon_efs10-18isCanon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM

Pros: Quality price-Ultra wide angle-weight-stabilization

Cons: Little sharpness-dull colors, needed post production

Opinion: Lens purchased used and used for about 6/7 months. After that, at the end of August, he inexplicably stopped being recognized by the machine. I took her on two summer trips, NY and Greece, in terms of space is very unwieldy and light. Portatilissima. The angle of the field is very good, but you have to know manage. I almost always preferred the lower focal to try to include in the scene as many elements as possible (especially in some street shots). At the edges it actually loses a lot in sharpness, but in the central area, for what it's worth, it's pretty good. Surely it is necessary to post-produce to recover a bit of vibrance and contrast of colors, which otherwise are quite a bit dull. As a first wide angle however it turns out to be good enough to have a little fun and learn to compose, surely to be upgrade once learned the use of wide angle pushed, but you can keep for emergencies.

canon_50_f1-8stmCanon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Pros: compactness, sharpness, brightness, bokeh (but not too much), quality/price

Cons: MAF a bit noisy

Opinion: Lens purchased used for €80 with 6 months of life, I use it with adapter on A6300 and I must say it does its job very well. It's not the 50 1.2, this is clear, but at the price it costs better maybe it's hard for this focal. I am an amateur landscsta/street, then more oriented to even extreme wide angles, but a 50mm according to me should not miss anyone, and this is really a great choice for those who want to spend little and take home very good shots in terms of IQ.

manfrotto_pixiManfrotto Pixi

Pros: Comfortable, portable, solid, stable, light, sturdy. All.

Cons: Too small for certain situations (but in those cases the larger stands are needed)

Opinion: Purchased on offer from Mediaworld at €19 to be able to shoot with long exposures and can take it anywhere with comfort, has now become a loyal ally in all exits. I was in New York in June and pretty much attacked him as soon as I arrived and detached him back home. It didn't bother me even hanging around my neck.

sony_a5100Sony A5100

Pros: compactness, unparalleled value, fast AF, high quality shots, touch

Cons: Lack of viewfinder (subjective, at the beginning I thought for myself was relative, I actually had to fall back on the body with viewfinder also for this), display in open daylight almost unusable, a little ' too small for those who have big hands

Opinion: I bought the car last November, I found an opportunity at the Black Friday from Mediaworld to €399 (price at which the car fell only today, after almost a year). What to say, it was love at first sight, I bring it everywhere thanks to its incredible compactness. I also use Canon lenses with Commlite adapter and I am fine, I bring home almost always great shots, post-products and not. Unfortunately at the beginning I thought the lack of the viewfinder was not a problem, but now, after a few months of use and after testing the display in daylight (unusable) I feel the need to have a camera body with a viewfinder that allows me to see "where I put my feet "even in super-illuminated conditions. The quality of the photos, with correct settings, is really high level (shooting in JPG + raw). Battery life pretty good. Recommended to start.
