![]() | Nikon AF 80-200 f/2.8 ED D Pros: Quality, brightness, price Cons: Very few, maybe the condensation ... yes, the hood is ugly :) Opinion: I bought this lens used but practically new to a fantastic figure (450) and I'm very happy, has a great quality, a surrender of "hot" colors that I like a lot.rnPersonally I do not find so limiting the AF, it will be because the his on d300s and it will be because I do not take pictures of sports situations pushed, but so far has never lost a shot.rnI also made tests on cars and birds in the race, but with AF set to C and dynamic area has never lost the fire. rnIf I had to express negative sides I think it would only be 2 per hour, but not so serious.rn1. A 2.8 is not so defined as to cry to the miracle, I tend to agree with those who said that the 50 1.8 is a bit sharper, but we are talking about cropped photos because otherwise it is acceptableissimo.rn2. This is something I had never encountered before this goal and made me smile. The condensation. It seems strange but one never thinks about it, the objectives, above all chiaramenin winter if they are kept externally for some time they cool down, when you switch to indoor environments the difference in temperature generates microcondens, in other words they fog up, all normal, only with the objectives in "plastic" (pass me the term) modern this you go to solve within a few seconds.rnThe bighiera is metal and this phenomenon lasts much longer because the lens body stays cold for much longer (if not stored near heat sources, but I do not even think about doing it do this thermal overhang) .rnThe problem is actually ridiculous for those used to pass a cloth on the lens (I'm not among them) and then I find myself waiting a bit more in this passage out / inside.rnBut to this goal he forgives everything ... Af, weight, softness ... has colors and bokeh that lately I'm alternating 50 1.8 and bighiera and enough ... given the price you find today you can not recommend it. sent on March 08, 2018 |
![]() | Nikon D300s Pros: Construction, ergonomics, AF, command customization, photo rendering, burst, in short .... a lot of positive qualities Cons: If I have to find one, maybe the noise over 1200 ISO Opinion: I bought this body 1 year after the D70s, I realize that it is "old" but never buy was more apt.rnHa sublime construction, the viewfinder with 100% coverage (coming from the d70s was like taking a cabrio car and watching the starry sky) it seemed almost to return to the times of the dear old FM.rnDigerisce optics new as old and motor AF for non-motorized targets that is a show.rnPersonally I find myself very well and if it is in good condition the price which is certainly worth buying (imho). sent on March 06, 2018 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED Pros: Value for money Cons: Brightness and general yield Opinion: I think this lens more than others should be seen from the perspective of the quality / price ratio.rnIf I had to make a judgment in itself on the lens I would say "is not bad" because I could use objectives that in my opinion have a better performance ( eg 50 1.8), if I had to pay the price quoted on this page I would say "NO, thank you" .rnBut if you consider that this is a lens that came out in kit (at the time I found it with the D70S) and that today can find at prices of all respect then the quality that offers depending on the price at which it is good.rnAttualmente the mounts (in a very casual way) on D300s, but after buying the 50 1.8 and the bighiera ... I keep it only for trips / walks where I do not want / time / way to change the lens (I'm not particularly fond of the focal lengths). I honestly thought to sell it, but being so low quote I keep it like everything else. sent on March 06, 2018 |
