![]() | Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Pros: Sharpness, stabilizer, fluency ring, solidity, zoom lock Cons: Lens hood, 82mm filters, locknuts tires, Canon USM slower USD Opinion: I purchased it after using for a year the Tamron of a friend of mine three years ago. Heavier than the Canon 24-105 that I used until recently, but it is a burden to which I am accustomed; Sharper already at 2.8 and with a better stabilizer. The AF ring is small but smooth, that zoom is harder, but in this way it makes the presence of the zoom block almost superfluous because the barrel does not go down with the lens downwards. As soon as you take it in your hand it gives you just the idea of solidity and good overall construction. The construction is however in two particular places: the AF and zoom rings that are consumed, discolour and quickly detach and the lens hood that is very light, fragile and small, is just a piece of plastic. Among the cons are the 82mm filters not so much for the magnitude itself but because it does not share the same diameter as the Tamron 70-200 2.8 of the same series. The autofocus is pretty fast, but not like the Canon USM, and it does fatigue when it lacks light. sent on February 23, 2019 |
![]() | Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Pros: Sharpness already at 2.8, effective stabilizer, fast focus, quality/price Cons: Reactivity stabilizer, tires, contrast Opinion: I bought it more on a whim than my mother that for my need, despite this I am aware of its quality and versatility and worth all the money spent. It is already sharp at full aperture and at all focal lengths, the zoom and focus rings are sliding. What I appreciate most of this lens is the effectiveness of the stabilizer, I was surprised: at 200 mm I can shoot at 1/4 s despite my hands are very, very, very, flickers. On the other hand I do not digest the reactivity of the same stabilizer, because I find it slow to activate and sometimes it does with a sharp click visible from viewfinder or screen. Another point in disfavour are the tires of the nuts, which are consumed too quickly, are detached and come off even using them little and very carefully. Last point to disfavor is that this lens returns very contrasecond images to my liking. Compared to Canon 70-200 2.8 II I found the Tamron more compact and as a result to me it seems to be more balanced as weight when mounted on the camera. sent on November 06, 2018 |
![]() | Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM Pros: Lightness, compactness, presence of stabilizer, focus, sharpness, colours, quality/price Cons: Nobody Opinion: I use it on 6d as a handyman for parties, visits to cities, portraits, family occasions etc. When I know I don't have to go down to 24mm or stretch to 105mm for space reasons. Purchased (used) after trying this focal from two friends, but they use Sigma Art, and I'm in love; I preferred it to the latter for price, size and presence of the stabilizer. The focus is fast and accurate with all the points of the 6d, even the sides. It is the sharpest lens in my possession (in the middle, while at the edges I do not know how it is, I have never taken notice as I do not care), but what I adore more than this lens is the yield: beautiful colors that return an image with an "aura" , it opens a lot of the shadows and at F2 it is already very. Ultimately it is, in my opinion, a true L-series missed, even more than the 85 f 1.8 (which I own) and the 100 F2 and less badly, in this way remains affordable sent on November 06, 2018 |
![]() | Canon 6D Pros: Image quality, lightness, manageability, tropicalised body, ISO 50 presence, ISO seal, central point, battery life, WiFi and remote control Cons: Lack of joystick, WB without a special button and not programmable, module af not the fastest Opinion: It's my first full frame, used socket. I owned and own 600D and 7D respectively, of the first I miss the swiveling display, second of all the joystick. As soon as I picked it up, it seemed much lighter than it really is and fits perfectly in my hand. Excellent image quality, keeping noise away from the standards that I was used to with my APSC. the WB seems to me to return files colder than 7D and is more correct under artificial lights, however it does not have a special button like on the 7D and is not programmable, it is inconvenient for me to change it every time from the menu. For what I do I do not need a form af last generation, the side points I have not found them so bad as you read around, in conditions of optimal light / normal or non-critical are reliable, fast and accurate; I would have preferred, however, that they were slightly less collected in the center. Good WiFi presence on occasions when it can serve. Battery with excellent durability (same as thethe 7D), even if taken used I quietly make 1000-1200 shots from viewfinder, which unfortunately become 200-250 from live liew. sent on January 30, 2018 |
![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Pros: Price, quality, price, TA sharpness, autofocus, weight, size, overall performance Cons: Nobody at this price Opinion: I used both the mark II and the STM for a long time and I have to say that this version beats its predecessor on all fronts: construction, sharpness, autofocus, metal attack. Unlike Mark II, which was soft with open diaphragms, this lens is already very useful in TA. The blur is characteristic and pleasant. Autofocus pretty fast and silent, almost always accurate. Good contrast and nice colors. Used on 6D, 7D and 600D: on ff is a good handyman, on aps-c can be tight. It is a lens I recommend, especially to those who want to enter the world of fixed optics for the first time, considering the price affordable to everyone sent on September 04, 2017 |
