Opinion: Purchased at the end of 2015 more because I wanted a 70-200 than for actual necessity, it is a lens that I used very very little. Like the 24-70 it is superior to the Nikon of the time in practically everything, price included, even if on the 70-200 the yield at f / 2.8, especially at minimum focus distance is not particularly stellar (I would say more in terms of contrast than sharpness). If it is used it can be a valid choice even today on F mount, especially if it is a support lens and not the lens with which you intend to take most of the photos, otherwise it is worth investing in the G2 version or directly in the latest Nikon (which however has another price).

Opinion: Taken used a few days ago, I wanted a tele with a wide focal aperture for greater brightness and good blurry. The price is more than reasonable for this truly exceptional optics. I found a good, if not excellent sharpness already at 2.8, very bright and pleasant color rendering. For stabilization I did not encounter the delay that some users complain. Needless to say, it's a fairly heavy optics and would have been the top if it had been tropicalized.

Opinion: Bought a long time ago with the aim of taking some sports photos and taking some shots during a safari in South Africa. Very happy with the purchase because with a low price you take a very good optics. The lack of sliding elements on sight make it, even if it is not tropicalized, however resistant to dust and water in a moderate form. A sore note, in my opinion, is the activation of the VR: it takes even 2 seconds and therefore forces you, to make shots not posing, to always hold the camera button in half, thus leading to a quick discharge of energies. If you shoot at a sharp stop by pressing the shutter button the "violent" activation of the VR can even lead to more choppy shots than without the active stabilizer. To say is that once activated the stabilizer is really effective, as is a Nikon home VC system. The sharpness, at F2.8 sincerely does not excite me, as it is not exciting the blurry that is quite stylized and little "smeared". At f4.0 the sharpness becomes really good and it is usually to this diaphragm that I prefer to shoot. Of course you have to respect good lighting conditions that must be present otherwise, if you want to shoot at dawn or at dusk, I advise you to buy something else. I've never had any problems with focus, in fact the inner moped is really fast and hit the lens right away!

Opinion: I bought it more on a whim than my mother that for my need, despite this I am aware of its quality and versatility and worth all the money spent. It is already sharp at full aperture and at all focal lengths, the zoom and focus rings are sliding. What I appreciate most of this lens is the effectiveness of the stabilizer, I was surprised: at 200 mm I can shoot at 1/4 s despite my hands are very, very, very, flickers. On the other hand I do not digest the reactivity of the same stabilizer, because I find it slow to activate and sometimes it does with a sharp click visible from viewfinder or screen. Another point in disfavour are the tires of the nuts, which are consumed too quickly, are detached and come off even using them little and very carefully. Last point to disfavor is that this lens returns very contrasecond images to my liking. Compared to Canon 70-200 2.8 II I found the Tamron more compact and as a result to me it seems to be more balanced as weight when mounted on the camera.

Pros: Price sharpness Stabilization

Cons: AF in Liew view not Performane

Opinion: Use Guy'il lens on APS c I would say excellent even at f2.8 the only flaw in the AF in Liew view that sometimes crashes, I have to turn the machine on and off. Anyway I recommend to all the sharp purchase at full aperture af fast on the viewfinder weighs a bit but it's worth the cost of a 24 70 G2 you have everything you need for a good price given the optical quality it returns.
