![]() | Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.8 G Pros: Bokeh, sharpness, weight, price Cons: My exemplar suffered from a correct front focus in the car at +16 Opinion: It is read here and there some purists who find the sharpness of this "soft" TA. I have only fixed a certain level and the clarity of this 85 to f / 1.8 is OVERALL for any application, if then the purpose is to compare mtfs for purely academic purposes then there is better.rnSi 24mpx of my full frame is perfect, three-dimensional with a remarkable and creamy bokeh that is overcome by a few other optics (like the 180 f / 2.8 I even own). Look not to confuse purple fringing with a wrong calibration of af: I refined with a +16 and the problem disappeared. Weighs nothing, it's in your pocket. Great completion for those who have a quality 35: with these two in "pocket" you can face almost everything. The ridiculous PDC requires a very precise focus, from the very close with the eye to focus and subjected to 45 degrees the nose is already blur. Having paid for my new 430 euro I really can not understand what can offer brother 1.4 which costs a thousand euros inplus: certainly not the jump in brightness nor the general quality (even that is plastic ...). A must have. Warning: Before talking about chromatic aberrations and fringing (or fingering .... ahahahah) calibrate the autofocus !!! sent on October 18, 2017 |
![]() | Nikon D610 Pros: Sensor with recovery shadows and monstrous lights, very well managed sound, 24mpx more than enough, ISO great up to 640 usable up to 1600 with very little denoise work Cons: Sensor oil (!), Af inaccurate in light condition, unobtrusive sight for long poses, 1/4000 Opinion: A great car for those who like me comes from d90 (however dignified). It takes a bit to trust the histogram because in pp you can recover incredible things. Absent noise up to 500/640, minimum up to 1600. Honestly, who believes usable iso 6400 I think I'm telling you why subjects prefer tablecloths. Buffer a little slow in the burst (ok until 10/12 photos then slows). In my opinion, it was an exceptional machine if it were not for two huge ones: the almost blind autofocus (the d90, 10 years old, seems to me even better in the shade) and the fact that up to 15,000 shots dirty the oil sensor type Pugliese . Clean 4 times in a very simple and fast way anyhow annoying defect because you notice when developing you need to clone spheres around. It overloads a bit. Perfect for everything except conditions that put the whip in low light. Here is not enough. In any case, as much as it costs and how much to recycle it with closed eyes. sent on July 18, 2017 |
![]() | Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro DG OS HSM Pros: F / 4 sharpness, macro, stabilization Cons: Sharpness at TA Opinion: A great optic that rivales without fear with the Nikon homologue by costing a third. Great for macro and portrait. Bokeh a bit nervous for my taste. Well spent money and I recommend buying instead of the original Nikon. Very light comes with two different hoods for dx is FF. Great on the macro where it also allows you to shoot freehand. It holds up to f / 22 the diffraction sent on July 18, 2017 |
![]() | Tokina AF 17-35mm f/4 AT-X Pro FX Pros: Possibility ND (82mm), f / 8 sharpness, colors, good backlighting Cons: Green and pink fringing in high light situations Opinion: Worth what costs, at f / 8 - f / 11, a soft knife to TA if you print over 24x36. Light and not too big is a good companion of the landscapers with sunbeds and sunsets where the best, the possibility of mounting filters (82mm). I used it on FF but I guess it can only improve on DX. Vignette more than acceptable. For architecture it is good because it offers really small distortions. sent on July 18, 2017 |
![]() | Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Pros: Sharpness to TA, blurred, colors Cons: Calibration really difficult Opinion: A superb optic, a jewel for chromatic rendering, bokeh and depth of contrasts. On FF a normal one that does not regret a 50mm. Taken by Italy, the second CPU change on the second day of use is calibrated to the Guerci (Ad Service) bench. Anyway, a so open calibration need with meticulous dock station to give the best. It's sweating but it's worth twice what it costs. sent on July 18, 2017 |
![]() | Nikon AF 180mm f/2.8 D ED IF Pros: Sharpness to TA, absurd bokeh, color rendering, weight and clutter Cons: Purple fringing, VR would allow something more. Opinion: An optic that I have long waited for and received in gift. On FF I had to calibrate af at +17. Overcame this and a fringing pink correctable in post without any problem a gorgeous optics. Awkward clarity (as opposed to what DXO stands for). Under 1/400 it risks microchips. The most absurd bokeh I've ever been able to touch with loads of colors and extremely creamy. Ideal for portrait and photo photography, all-metal and lightweight compact glass. A lens that is over 30 years old but also conceived for fan counters. Inevitable in the backpack.rn sent on July 18, 2017 |
![]() | Nikon 50mm f/1.2 AI-s Pros: Bokeh, wonderful three-dimensional to TA Cons: Sharpness up to f / 2.8 Opinion: A wonderful optics both on FF and DX that gives, all opening, a wonderful blur and a dreamlike tridimensionality. A perfect lens for printers, less for pixel count patients; On dx l optics for portrait excellence. From f / 2.8 top sharpness for each sensor in the center, soft to the edges up to f / 4 but those looking for such a lens look for the plus that no coating can give. Precise focusing with the rangefinder. For connoisseurs sent on July 18, 2017 |
