I also own the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM and if I have to compare it to the quality / price the Tokina exceeds it greatly. Of course the Canon at f / 4 is much sharper both in the center and at the edges but if both you close them at f / 5.6 you notice only a little noise in the Tokina when you enlarge the image, which then with click in Lightroom you remove it with the same or imperceptible result. I recommend it to those who want a wide angle with little expense and a lot of yield.
