![]() | Nikon D6 Pros: File quality, autofocus accuracy, battery life, unchanged mesh other iso ... a true professional Cons: Not having it Opinion: I own in addition to the D6 the D4, D5 and Z9 . Apart from the sensor of the D4 which I am in love with for the quality of the files that churns out the best professional product is undoubtedly the D6, its autofocus never makes mistakes and reads in the dark, the quality of the files is close to perfection and with the D6 I can get shots that with the Z9 I dream of (too many useless pixels on many occasions) Nothing to say about the viewfinder of the Z9 but that of the SLR is something else. In terms of robustness it is a tank. Grade 10 laude sent on October 22, 2025 |
![]() | Hasselblad 907X 50C II Pros: The cockpit vision is priceless, induces reflection before shooting. La macchiana has extraordinary technology and menu and churns out a file that for my taste is the best there is on the market today. The sensor is a 50Mp 43.8 x 32.9 mm CMOS with 16-bit color definition and dynamic range up to 14 stops. I would say that there is nothing more to add Cons: It is not a machine for everyone (and not for the costs), it is a tool that must be used by skilled hands, but above all not hasty. Opinion: Many years have passed since the moon landing but Hasselblad is projected towards new adventures. Hasselblad has thrown the stone of historical re-enactment, or rather of the real digital rebirth, by means of a product that allows loyal owners and still users of the V Series bodies (or V System: me among them) to witness the miracle! Finding in our hands a complete, digital, high-performance photographic system like what could be a modern native numerical product, but made from the camera body and the optics belonging to the V System in our possession. It is necessary to underline this mixture with one term in particular: really and easily usable. Today the 907X body extends a bridgehead between the different Hasselblad systems because it allows, through adapters officially produced by Hasselblad, to use V lenses (XV adapter), H lenses (XH adapter) and even XPAN lenses (XPAN adapter) on the same body! Hasselblad has really been able to please everyone and achieve that squaring of the circle between analog and digital, between modern and past, which perhaps no one in the photographic field has so far had the audacity to attempt. And in all this we have not yet mentioned the fact that the sensor that underlies such wonders is a 33 x 44 mm medium format CMOS with 50 Megapixels ... sent on September 25, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Pros: Sharpness, weight, versatility, price Cons: Nothing special Opinion: Accustomed to using fixed lenses for nature photography, I needed a versatile zoom lens to carry when I want to stay light on my long hikes (I often do hours of trekking in the high mountains). Honestly, I was skeptical, maybe conditioned by the price. I had to change my mind, it is an extraordinary optics, engraved and clean, with a perfect color rendering, it will not have the blur of a fixed but it comes close. Satisfied... I recommend it! sent on April 28, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S Pros: Stratospheric Cons: Nobody Opinion: An extraordinary lens has changed the lives of many action photonaturalists like myself. Its lightness combined with extreme quality and fast autofocus makes it a perfect adventure companion. My itinerant photography often requires me to hike in the high mountains for several hours and the lens must always be at hand to immortalize what is in front of you. Having a portable 800mm is priceless. sent on January 27, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S Pros: Optics with stratospheric definition. Awesome blur. Light Cons: Nobody Opinion: I wanted to replace the 500 Pf with a Native lens for the Z series and I opted for this gem. I'm a nature photographer and I combine it with the new Nikon Zf, another jewel of the Nikon house. On my nature hikes I take the Z9 with the Nikkor 800 f 6.3 and the Zf with the 400 f 4.5. After a few shots I understood the enormous potential of the 400. In telephoto Nikon is making great strides and all the latest tele is outstanding sent on October 26, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon Zf Pros: Perfect and Iconic. Cons: Nobody... Addictive Opinion: I needed a second body to complement the Nikon Z9. Full Frame with max 24 mpx Not to have a duplicate of the Z9. Field-proven it is perfect, autofocus and tracking very similar to the Z9 (current market benchmark). The resulting raw file is perfectly workable and for those who do not need to crop significantly I would say the right balance. Socket with the 40 mm f 2 vintage look . Fully satisfied! sent on October 14, 2023 |
