Mi chiamo Silvio Bergamo e sono nato il 7 Settembre del 1988. Vivo a Scalea, un piccolo paese di mare nel nord della Calabria. La fotografia paesaggistica, notturna e ritrattistica rappresentano la mia più grande passione e da autodidatta studio quotidianamente i fondamenti della fotografia e le sue tecniche più disparate. Resomi conto che il posto in cui vivo iniziava a starmi stretto ho preso la mia Nikon e ho iniziato a viaggiare nel Nord Europa. Durante i miei viaggi, o più semplicemente durante una sessione fotografica, prediligo la solitudine. Ciò è molto importante per creare un legame intenso con la macchina fotografica e con il posto in cui mi trovo. La fotografia è come un viaggio che permette a chiunque guardi le mie foto di viaggiare con me.

My name is Silvio Bergamo and I was born on the 7th of September, 1988. I live in Scalea, a small sea town in the north of Calabria. Landscape, noctural and portraiture photography represents my greatest passion and day-by-day as a self-taught I study the basis of photography and (its) all kind of techniques. Because the place where I live isn't big enough I took my Nikon and I started to travel around North Europe. In my journeys, during a photo shoot, I prefer loneliness. This is essential to make a connection between the camera and the place where I am. Photography is like a journey that allows anyone to travel with me.
