![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Pros: price - size / weight - sharpness if just a little closed - brightness Cons: construction - AF - a little blurry .... pentagonal! - Manual focus diffcilissimo Opinion: Inevitable in any kit lens low budget (and not only). For € 100 you bring home a toy that will unmount if you do not hand in the first breath (very rough construction) will give you great satisfaction. Reaches 1.8 with decent results, and if a little closed to may pay a more expensive lenses and emblazoned in terms of color and sharpness. The noisy and slow AF (money's worth) The focus is not nice but not so unwatchable .... well also blurred the money's worth! sent on May 28, 2012 |
![]() | Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM Pros: 8 mm - nitdezza - color-AF - solid construction Cons: important dimensions - filters can not be used Opinion: Spectacular this lens, 8mm wide .... I'm really one of the lenses funniest ever. Impresses the sharpness is at the center than at the edges, good AF and also the build quality. It is not a very bright lens but so far I have never felt the lack of more openness, not consider it a problem on a wide angle. Even not being able to use filters to me is not a problem. sent on May 28, 2012 |
![]() | Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Pros: Sharpness, price, color, weight / size, USM AF Cons: hood not included Opinion: Really sharp already from 2.8, very very sharp. Value for money really excellent and good availability in used, the AF (if we think it is a macro lens that we are talking about) is very good. The construction though not by L-series is still very good also. Consigliatissima. When used for portraits is sometimes a little merciless ..... sent on May 28, 2012 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Sharpness - Versatility - Building L - well established - great colors Cons: Flare Flare Flare, AF in low light (sporadically) Opinion: Excellent all-round lens. I use it on APS-C and is perfect for my needs. with 105mm f / 4 on APS-c The stabilizer is essential and that of the 24-105 works very well indeed. Good construction from L series, very sharp for a zoom cos' wide (except for F / 4 which is clear enough and without a lot), beautiful colors. The only real drawback is that it suffers a lot of flare and you have to be there atttenti sent on May 05, 2012 |
