tamron_sp85_f1-8vcTamron SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD

Pros: Stabilization,non-excessive cost, sharpness, blurred, construction, lack of fb focus

Cons: Vc a little noisy, a little heavy but not unbalanced

Opinion: I'm testing this lens thoroughly,I have to say that it is very valid, previously I owned the 1.8g nikon as many as two specimens,1.4 hsm sigma, and this tamron does not think them really... the nikon in both cases proved excellent in sharpness but bad in the bokeh that was always too nervous. the sigma was a fb focus ordeal and after months of setting me up. then I took the opportunity from an acquaintance and took the vc in question. all other music, does not miss a beat, you can shoot at a 30th without risking the move, and it is clear the right with a good bokeh almost old mold. very recommended, too underrated. once existed the club of 2.8, today without 1.4 you are nobody. Too bad.. don't hesitate to try it.

nikon_50_f1-4gNikon AF-S 50mm f/1.4 G

Pros: Lightweight, versatile, cost of used, fuzzy, MAF

Cons: Not received for my taste

Opinion: Premise: I own the 501.8 G, in Sigma Art 50, the Sigma Art 135, I have owned for a long time the Sigma 50 1.4 HSM, now for whim I bought this Nikon 1.4, nital with still 3 years warranty x 230 euro.. I had done before, of course the comparison with the 135 is unequal x obvious reasons but x as regards the other 50mm sorry, this is pure magic, the photos are little contraended with the transition from fire to the soft and pleasant bokeh, muted colors and warm with a skin of the Face without too many imperfections as with the art that is sharper but in my opinion more aseptic, in other words is an excellent optics from portrait, was born for this and knows how to do it excellently.. Non-existent AF problems, as accurate as a blade... Maybe you should calibrate your autofocus from specialized centers, the problem is rarely the lenses.. Straconsigliato.. Everything else is weight and excess money.

helios_44m4_58f2Zenit Helios MC 44M-4 58mm f/2.0

Pros: Swirly effect, construction and handling

Cons: MAF uncertain, completely manual, does not communicate, so nothing EXIF

Opinion: The yield is the famous one of the Zenit, you have to use adapters rings and at least for attack Nikon trick to operate the diaphragms fixed to F2, for Nikon you lose the PDC, unless you use adapter with additional lens that of course does Losing quality to an already unincisive lens, but... What wonders can be pulled out, is so scarce that in the presence of humidity has nothing to envy to the famous and expensive Trioplan, all spending really insignificant figures that roam the 20-40 euros according to the version.. Very helpful, everyone should have a copy in the bag.. The shots are almost never sharp... but always magical...

sigma_135_f1-8artSigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art

Pros: Bokeh, sharpness, robustness, colors

Cons: Really excessive weight, very long, not very versatile

Opinion: I got to test it thoroughly thanks to a friend who lends it to me frequently, that say, I have tried so far many lenses from portrait, this really surrenders them all and by far, no mistake a shot, the picture comes out pretty much already post-produced , absurd sharpness already an all-opening and blurred by scream, only problem if you want to make whole figures you have to move away over the 12-15 meters from the subject.. It is really long and therefore not suitable for small spaces, the weight is felt, even if it was known from the purchase, certainly less practical than an 85mm in a professional key/wedding, but once taken with this optics will ruin your life... You no longer want to shoot with other lenses, the 50 mm art remains in the bag..

nikon_d610Nikon D610

Pros: weight, resolution, depth color and dynamic range, double slot sd

Cons: non-shutterable eye automatically in long exposures, ISO key can be improved

Opinion: I find it a camera with an excellent value for money, the colors are wonderful and the dynamic range is very extensive, even in the shadows you can see for example the colors of a sunset. the maf points are in my opinion well manageable, they are not the 51 of the d3 but they are sufficient in the portrait and in the landscape and in most situations, focuses even almost at night. I recommend buying it without any problems considering also the price of the used. (January 2019 update) used thoroughly x 2 years. ceremonies, macros, landscape and portrait. it does not fear any competitors and often very often does better than the competitors....

manfrotto_055xbManfrotto 055 XB

Pros: Robust, versatile, indestructible ..

Cons: Weight, but perfection does not exist ...

Opinion: I've done everything, I took him everywhere, worn, scraped and scratched by sand and rocks ... and works well as the first day, he never loosened and never gave even a gancio..per people like me who like to stay in the action, even in the waves, highly recommended ... and then, with the second column practically put your camera on the ground ... if you find it used buy it without hesitation.

nikon_18-35gNikon AF-S 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED

Pros: Price, lightness, diameter filters, sharpness, minimal distortion, after months of use I can affirm with certainty that it is an embarrassing optics... for others... do not compare it to the old model, are not even distant relatives.

Cons: He doesn't have any! The cons is not having it, I find it good even to the touch..

Opinion: Sharp, I was able to compare it to 16-35 and I can safely say that on D3 has a minor drop of sharpness at the edges without prejudice that his big brother is 16mm! For landscapers the lack of the stabilizer is a merit.. It should not be excluded every time you place on tripod, the distortion said by many is practically non-existent and very little vignette, vibrant colors.. Absolutely to buy, it costs little and it is light, I have nothing else to add.. I correct the shot in January 2019-tested in depth on d610, even better than on the D3, the higher resolution of the sensor greatly improves the performance of the lens that does not show any kind of weak point.. Rated 9

sigma_12-24_v2Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 II DG HSM

Pros: Robust, af speed and angle of view.

Cons: Can not mount filters and dim to make shots Startrail or milky way.

Opinion: When you mount it on ff you opens a new world, awesome, excellent value for money, it does not take very well the flare but in essence it is in my opinion a great optics, crisp to the point giusto..consigliatissimo if you do not want with svenare optical officers, vibrant colors and crisp even at full aperture, a little distortion, but I mean ... this focal ...

sigma_17-35ex-hsmSigma 17-35mm f/2.8-4 EX DG HSM

Pros: Price, lightness, velocita'af, minimal vignetting ..

Cons: little resistance to flare ..

Opinion: Possess this optic from one year in combination with a d3, I also tested for a certain period the equivalent nikon f4 .. frankly beyond the little resistance to flare in full backlight and a slight lack of sharpness workable quietly in pp. with a light mask contrast does not make me regret the expensive (relatively) nikon 16-35 f4, Sigma e'ben built with a nice touch and a lightning af if we think of a wide angle, but the highlight .. It is the price of less than 200 euro on the used market, I think a deal .. Optical irreplaceable ..
