Posso aggiungere di aver scelto la RE-2 , sorella minore della Super , per il costo inferiore , l' estetica più snella , perché non mi serviva il pentaprisma mobile e per l' otturatore Copal-Square che sincronizzava il flash a 1/125 ; la fotocamera è un piccolo , solido blocco di metallo , dalle splendide linee squadrate , costruito con tecnica raffinata . Le caratteristiche uniche che possedeva erano la lettura TTL a tutta apertura grazie al simulatore di diaframma e l' elemento sensibile , collocato dietro lo specchio che la luce raggiungeva attraverso delle sottilissime fessure praticate sullo stesso .
L' esemplare che possiedo ( tuttora perfettamente funzionante ) è corredato dal 35 mm. f. 2.8 , dal normale ”lungo” 58 mm. f. 1.8 , dal 100 mm. f. 2.8 e dal 200 mm. f. 5.6 , tutte lenti molto compatte , resa meravigliosa e medesima eccellenza costruttiva del corpo macchina .
