sony_fe70-300ossSony FE 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G OSS

Pros: -Excellent build quality-it has 4 selectors and 1 programmable key-very smooth and precise focusing-minimum focusing distance of 90 cm. -Excellent optical stabilizer-with diaphragms from F8 to F11 the lens is sharp to the edges

Cons: -Missing collar to put the lens directly on the tripod-when the sun drops the F/4.5-5.6 You start to make it feel, but the ISO tightness of the A7III comes in handy!

Opinion: I think at the moment this is the best Tele Zoom for Sony as a quality price ratio. For me it is essential to get at least 300, the 70 200 are too short in most uses. It is a very well built goal, which gives satisfaction in the use. With the A7III it handles well even without grip. It is very compact to be closed, while with the hood and extending it to 300 is a beautiful beast!

sony_a7iiiSony A7 III

Pros: Dynamic, high ISO holding, number of focus points, burst speed, tiltabile and touch screen, double SD slot, magnesium alloy body

Cons: Missing the paper manual, lack the apps, support to touch to improve

Opinion: After many years of Canon I thought this was the perfect time to switch to a mirrorless machine. The Sony A7 Series 3 is fully mature, and being that they are not yet mirrored Canon series outputs, I could sell my old SLR material to an appreciable amount. The body of this Sony is really fantastic, it gives a feeling of strength and professionalism. The numerous programmable keys are in my opinion already very comfortable in the basic configuration. Dynamic, high ISO holding, number of focus points, burst speed, tiltabile screen and touch, dual SD slots are the main points that led me to the choice of this brand and model. The footprint is fabulous: the Sony A7III + Optic kit has the same size as the Canon APS-C with optical kit. The weight is slightly higher than that of Sony, because it has the body in magnesium alloy, against the plastic of the Canon. I have never used the previous version of the menu organization, present in the old models, but this seems more than good, considering the not indifferent number of options. The most used can be included in "my Menu" a completely customizable menu. For the moment I'm using it with the OTTCA in kit, then I will evaluate the purchase of brighter optics, and now that Sigma, Tamron and Samyang have entered decisively in the implementation of Ottche and mount, the prices are definitely more affordable and in line with The other brands. Note, among other things, that while third-party lenses on Canon and Nikon are made with reverse engineering and sometimes give problems, those for Sony are designed using the specifications provided by Sony, therefore fully compatible and upgradeable through Machine body. Among the flaws is missing the manual paper (in the Canon was there), lacks support for apps (I would have liked its evolution, not the elimination), support to the touch to improve (there is no way to scroll the images with your finger!) The Sony A7iii in my opinion has a very high price/quality ratio, is a handyman machine that at the moment is among the best available. Account to keep it for many years, it will take it before knowing at best all its features
