Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM

Pros: Image quality, zoom range, good colours, stabilizer, strong L-series version, sharpness, autofocus

Cons: "Only" F4

Opinion: It is in use as my standard zoom lense, very good working with APS-C and also FF. Best sharpness results with a aperture range between f5.6 and f8. The lense is my first choice for travel. In my opinion there must be more aperture possible than F4. My proposal for a new version of the lense would be F2.8 At the moment I don't see a better lense of Canon for this zoom range. Only the EF 24-70 2.8 L USM II is interesting, but it costs more than double of the price of the 24-105.
