sigma_105macro_osSigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro DG OS HSM

Pros: Sharpness, colors, blurry, detail

Cons: Chromatic aberrations, focus breathing(?), noisy and sometimes inaccurate stabilizer.

Opinion: So, after 1 year of using this lens I think it's time to review it. I had the opportunity to try this lens in many respects and in many types of shots: Macro, urban, portrait, details. It's a really sharp optics and the colors it manages to get are very very satisfying. The only problem that I have unfortunately encountered are the excessive chromatic aberrations at the edges of each subject, which have colors that are difficult to remove with a simple click (purple, blue and green). Another problem I have encountered (I have not tried other models) is a focus breathing when using the focus ring. I also noticed that at the minimum focusing distance (ie 31cm) the aperture closes automatically at about f5.6, while if you turn the focus ring by setting it to infinity the aperture opens at 2.8, very useful in portraits and / or in some particular photo. The autofocus is quite noisy and in case of very close and small subjects it is difficult to use the AF. No problem, you turn the focus ring and the problem is solved, however, why not be able to fully use an included system? All in all the optics are good and once you know these small problems you adjust.

sigma_35_f1-4Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art

Pros: Sharpness, image quality, TA sharpness

Cons: Not tropicalized, suffers from F/B, bulky, heavy

Opinion: I have had this lens for about 3 years now and it is the main lens, the one I use for most of my photographs. After intense sacrifices I bought it knowing well what I was buying and its cons. My model suffered from B/ F focus and I was able to fix it with the dock (available separately). Since then, I haven't had the same problem again even years later. It is a solid, large and heavy lens. I'm sorry it's not tropicalized. If I went back would I buy it again? I think so since at the time there were no optics of the same sharpness at TA with the same price. Maybe I would have tried to save some money for a few months and I would have fallen back on something else, but all in all, I'm not sorry

nikon_d7200Nikon D7200

Pros: Tropicalized, possibility of battery grip

Cons: Important Iso noise at 3200, fixed monitor.

Opinion: It is a camera that I have been using for 4 years now. It is a professional camera body with a 24mpx Aps-c sensor. Thanks to the two programmable keys it is possible to set them for every type of need and for every photographic genre and to be able to save them in the ring in " U1 " and " U2 ". It is a machine that has given me great satisfaction and combined with a good lens changes face. I can not find substantial flaws to write them here, on the other hand I have never used a fullframe to understand what the limitations are.
