olympus_8-25_f4proOlympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm f/4 Pro

Pros: Sharpness even at full aperture, color rendering and shadow areas, robustness.

Cons: Perhaps the weight and bulk when compared to the "dwarfs" to which oly has accustomed us

Opinion: I took it to have an all-rounder suitable for my favorite viewing angle to replace the legendary 12-100. It is lighter and less bulky than the latter but still quite massive but goes perfectly with my em1 mkii. First impressions are really great. The sharpness even at full aperture is exciting, with the same aperture and focal length I find it better than the excellent 17 f1.8 and 12 f2, even at the level of color rendering it seems better to me and especially the detail in the shadow areas is much more readable. I bought it with the cashback of 200 euros offered by Olympus that arrived after about ten days so it cost me new with polyphoto guarantee just over 650 € a great price for the quality offered by this lens. In my opinion at 25 mm it reaches the maximum performance that in any case already at 8 are excellent. The focus is instantaneous and precise and the minimum maf distance very close to the front lens makes it interesting even for close shooting. Good as always the hood that has the unlock button. For me it is an excellent lens for those who range from landscape to Street passing through architecture, discreet for portraiture but is not specialized given the considerable depth of field that the more open aperture of f4 allows.

olympus_12-100_f4proOlympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-100mm f/4.0 IS Pro

Pros: Sharpness, stabilization, solidity and build quality,

Cons: Size and weight but only because the 4/3 micro size has got us used to it well

Opinion: Fantastic goal! It's like having the sharpness of all the fixed prime targets of Olympus and Panasonic (and Sigma) between 12 and 100 mm in one body. The lens stabilizer paired with the em1 mark 2 body stabilizer has miraculous, at 100 mm it is quietly snapped by free hand at 1/10 of a second... The AF is lightning and precise. It is massive and gives sensation of great quality, it is weight compared to the average of the lenses for micro 4/3 and the clutter, relative, is remarkable. Excellent minimum distance of maf, the addition of an af extension tube makes it suitable even for interesting macro shots.

sigma_60dnSigma 60mm f/2.8 DN

Pros: Sharpness, weight, value for money

Cons: Smooth outer finish, minimum focus distance, atypical focal length.

Opinion: The full-opening sharpness is amazing, the details it manages to capture are amazing, it's compact and light, perfect to be paired with micro 4/3 bodies. The focus is fast and silent. It's well built but the smooth, shiny finish of the barrel isn't quite the best. The equivalent focus on the full format is 120 mm and is in my opinion an atypical focal length, I use it mainly for medium-distance portraits with excellent deadlift of the floors and a blurry at the full opening very pleasant. I would have preferred a minimum focus distance more suitable for macro shots. The equipment of a lampshade and a sturdy and well-made enclosure is appreciable as usual for sigma. In conclusion I think that the value for money of this lens is absolutely exceptional, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a portrait lens.
