nikon_z6Nikon Z6

Pros: Lightness-quality of the images even with the standard optics-fast card

Cons: Absurd cost of the cards (thanks Sony mom to cut us in this way....)

Opinion: I just ordered a Z6 with standard optics, after having tried it a few hours last Saturday during a meeting Nikon (and I had with me the d750 + 24/120 f4 for comparison). It's coming tomorrow. From this weekend I will have the opportunity to test it "on the field" for a few days. I had the chance to try both the Z7 and the 24/70 F2,8, but seen prices and weight are not in my "core" and therefore I decided to test what I could buy. The 24/120 optics never showed higher than the standard 24/70 F4 and on the other hand (I think thanks to the greater light captured by the wider bayonet) the latter worked with 1 stop of difference (so the F4 was bright as an F2,8). The 400 grams less is felt and the appliance is used very well with one hand. The complexion is very precise. The result was that I sold the D610 (second body) and the 24/120, keeping only the d750 with the 14/24, and also the 300 F4 Superlight and the 2x III. The photos "Tele" I do with the P1000, which from 300 mm up, does not work at all bad. In the future we will see if it is the case to buy new optics and possibly the adapter for the big angle, also selling the excellent D750. The bad surprise was the cost of the cards, and even if in the coming days will be released the SW update that allows the use of CFExpress, at least for the next few months nothing will change; In fact, the CFExpress, much more performing XQD, is not where to buy them and so I do not even know the price. It all makes me think that the XQD format soon becomes obsolete.

nikon_coolpix_p1000Nikon Coolpix P1000

Pros: Weight Zoom amplitude; Extensive system of stage and post-productive filters of good yield

Cons: 16mni sensor, minimum f8 diaphragm, difficulty stabilizing it due to the absence of a screw mount on the barrel, less good pictures on the focal court (24-130), new RAW file owner not yet accepted by all post-production programs (Lightroom is Adequate only last week-15/10/2018)

Opinion: The P1000 is not bad, indeed! Rating 9 is evidently optimized for the mid-high focal lengths (from 300 mm up) where it gives the best of itself, especially in good light conditions, even compared to what it costs and how much they cost fixed optics of similar focal length. At the shorter focal lengths the image decays slightly, especially in low ambient light conditions, tending to knead the details, making them less sharp; Effect that is noted especially in landscapes, while making much better in the closer picture (within 10/15 MT); I have not tried the macro function (I will reupdate the review) The comparison is with D750 + 24-120 f 4, 300 F4 and 2x III – also compared with Sony DSC-HX400V which comes out destroyed. According to our observation (MIA and a friend – Photoshop 100%), the reflex prevails, though not by much, with the 24-120 which also shows him several gaps; the comparison with the 300 F4 (€2,000 objective, if nital) is slightly in favor of the P1000, we do not talk then of 3 00 + 2x (Other €550-today's prices on Amazon) the photos with the focal lengths 1,000 and 2,000 are very good, a pelino minus the focal 3,000. The test with the 12,000 is made on the bird position (bird) and the correction software works very well: Of course it is a Crop and I have to check if in post production a photo with the 2,000 or 3,000 gets better or worse.

nikon_afs300_f4pfNikon AF-S 300mm f/4 E PF ED VR

Pros: Weight Construction Free Handheld VR

Cons: Price Good optical quality, but not at the cost level and brand self-styled Premium

Opinion: Convenient to carry around thanks to its lightness (compared to other lenses of the same focal), but not exceptional in terms of optical performance: good, but not excellent, species croppando in post-production (and with this type of optics is easy to cross). It tends to knead a little bit the details and blur the image (Autofocus and VR inserted-D750 on the tripod Manfrotto 190 with head Cullmann CT-40). Of course the whole thing is noted with strong magnifications on PC screen: a PC screen size 18 "You do not perceive, then OK for A4 prints and also A3
