![]() | Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro Pros: great clarity, transition from manual to auto focus quickly, lightly. Cons: autofocus slow, clumsy and incredibly noisy. Opinion: It 's my first lens for Macro, bought for its "cost" than the others of the same kind. I must say that I was impressed by the sharpness, even if I use it mostly by hand and this for photographing insects or flowers without a tripod is practically impossible. Two may be in the noise and slow autofocus and wheel limiter on the left which is often activated involuntarily. Overall I think it is a good goal. sent on August 26, 2013 |
![]() | Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Pros: versatility, lightness, clarity, speed and distance short of focus. Cons: imbalance forward at maximum focal length, zoom "pump", discomfort of the ring for manual focus. Opinion: At full aperture (f/5.6) and the maximum focal length (400mm) delivers sharp images, even in low light. It 's definitely a lens very versatile and handy, especially if you practice moving nature photography and hiking. Like anything significant drawbacks, but overall it is a great lens that lends itself to different needs. sent on August 25, 2013 |
![]() | Canon 450D Pros: aps-c sensor, huge screen, light weight, easy handling, compactness and ease of use. Cons: Normally, the photos look cool, or at least you should always correct a posteriori the white balance and contrast, as a minimum. For those shooting in bursts certainly is not the best, since after just 6 photos "raw" stops. Opinion: It 's my first SLR, which was acquired at the time in a kit with the 18-50 and 75-300. It 'a complete and efficient machine, which can give very good if used with targets, vice versa when used with optical poor. Personally the photo "over" is no different from those of other superior machines. I took this after the 550d, from which it differs only in the lack of opportunity to perform in movies and see "live view". sent on August 25, 2013 |
![]() | Canon 550D Pros: possibility of using the live view for shooting in difficult conditions or for particular perspectives. APS-C sensor which enlarges the subject for the naturalist. Affordable considered the machine features. Cons: only monitor and video shooting with manual focus. compared to 450 the keys are so many, near and crushed, it affects each adjustment. white balance, as in 450, always tends toward blue shades, so in many cases to monitor appear underexposed images or poor, this is set to automatic balancing with daylight. for people like me who uses the machine for birds moving 3.7 fps (6 raw) are often a limit. the shutter button, which is also crushed a lot, maybe it would be better in a more advanced position and not so high, considering the small size of the grip, suitable for those with smaller hands. Opinion: I switched to eos 550d from 450 as is normal: most amount of pixels, video recording, live view, greater autonomy, are the reasons that convinced me to buy. He definitely has a good quality / price ratio. Overall I consider it a good camera, light, simple, and who does his job very well, although for particular genres of photography you notice certain limits. sent on August 25, 2013 |
