![]() | Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Pros: Sharpness, lightness. Made silent fire. Cons: NO WITH CANON 6D. Hood brittle material. ring position MAF problematic. Opinion: Unfortunately, my experience with this (first) lens TAMRON was negative. I found out after the first CLEAN CONTACTS problems which was a very common problem when mounted with Canon 6D. Really disappointed, because it is an excellent lens. The sharpness is great and is relatively light. Stabilized and weather sealed, I thought I had bought a lens that I would last years. Instead it lasted two days: returned. The problem, for those who want clarification, appears suddenly and so logical NOT: Newly fitted, the first click is presented on the screen warning CLEAN CONTACTS. Off everything and turned on again, the first click is presented on the screen warning CLEAN CONTACTS. Off all, disassembled, reassembled, shaken and on, the first shot is presented on the screen warning CLEAN CONTACTS. Off all, disassembled, reassembled, and then switched back ... shaken BETTER goes. He makes some shots then when you change aperture ... CLEAN THE CONTACTS! NotThere is no solution, clean the contacts it is useless (what tried for hours). sent on March 01, 2016 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Pros: optimal excursion. Quiet. Ring-making very soft fire. Light. Cons: Little sharpness at TA. high distortion. Hood not included (important). Opinion: I am using this view as much as possible, before changing it :) It will be inevitable given that the sharpness in my opinion, is not enough. All in all, the lens is great. Purchased in kit with Canon 6D. Well built (for what it's worth) and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The lack of the lens hood in the package, however, is unforgivable. Recommended only if you are interested in purchasing a kit. sent on February 29, 2016 |
![]() | Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Pros: Sharpness, build quality, quiet, unique. Cons: After a while 'is really heavy, hike a bit' short (18-35mm), APS-C only. Opinion: This objective is giving me a lot of satisfaction. The quality is such as to divert attention from targets such as Sigma 20 f1.4; The Sigma 24-35mm f2; 24 f1.4 and 35mm f1.4, saving much money. And 'heavy, this is relevant, but like all art, the weight helps me to pay more attention to the goal. Its mass also creates difficulty using steady-cam (or fly-cam). Although everything is really a lens they have become fond of and from which I will never separate myself. The quality of the photos first. I have a Canon 70D. sent on February 10, 2016 |
