Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Aspherical Pros: Weight, price, 14mm, sharpness, break difficulty, f/2.8 opening Cons: manual focus, faulty models Opinion: Let's assume that at this price it is impossible to find better, we talk about 200 euros on the used and little more on the new (on Amazon it came to 280 euros). Paired with the D750, it seems to have a mirrorless in hand due to weight and compactness. It has virtually no internal mechanics, so it hardly will leave you on foot, you talk about manual focus, but just put it to infinity and that's it. Some models unfortunately do not have the precise reference scale and therefore need to calibrate it (see on Youtube). In my opinion it is very sharp if it closes at f/8 of course, I am particularly pleased with this goal. Now I also have the Z6 and I would have liked to try its namesake in Z version, but they speak bad about it. Honestly, anyone who talks about bottle bottoms is better off changing hobbies. sent on March 13, 2020 |
Nikon D750 Pros: Dynamic range, weight, price, portability, overhead screen Cons: 1/8000s Opinion: What about, in my opinion the best SLR on the market price/quality. Returns super workable raw, recovery then is a fantastic thing, often allows you to shoot even in prohibitive conditions. It certainly does not have a pro body like the d810, but its advantage is the weight, with only 750gr will not make you think of passing a mirrorless, as often does who has heavy bodies. Only sore note is the limited shot at 1/4000s which in some cases can be a limit. sent on February 08, 2019 |
Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Pros: Weight-price/quality-sharpness-stabilizer Cons: Lens hood Opinion: One of my favorite lenses, despite having his older brother the 70-200 G2. I use it often and willingly, the stabilization is crazy, you can shoot at 1/60 at 300mm without choppy, also guaranteed by the fact that it is very light and portable. The only drawback in my opinion is the lens hood, which forces you to disassemble it as often as you have to use the lens. Found used at 230 euros, I think one of the best buys. sent on June 01, 2018 |
Nikon AF DX 10.5mm f/2.8 G ED Fisheye Pros: Nice and funny Cons: Expensive, flare Opinion: The lens is fun, especially in infrared photography, where I used it more often. They offer a lot of flare, if you have the sun near you can not get light. Too expensive, found used, new I would never have taken it. I have replaced (always for infrared) with the 10-24mm Nikon, it's not the same, but it's also fun. sent on September 05, 2017 |
