![]() | Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Pros: Great all-rounder Cons: Nobody Opinion: I'll be quite succinct: mind-blowing optics. I use it a bit for everything from portraits to landscapes, from macros to streets, with excellent results. On the 7d mark II it makes even better than on the 70d. It is the lens that I use the most, it gives me certainty of result and tranquility in the shot, hardly miss a photo even for the speed and precision of the focus and the excellent stabilizer. Satisfied fully. sent on October 20, 2019 |
![]() | Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Pros: Usability - focal ranges - focus Cons: I have not found any details Opinion: As a simple photography enthusiast I can only say well about this goal. I use it, with Canon 70d, mostly outdoors, in AV mode, almost always between f/8 and f/9. Rarely "canno" a picture and if it happens it's my fault. I always got beautiful images, sharp and excellently contrasted. Shot in jpeg format, with very minimal post-production. I report a more than good AF and a high degree of usability due to the range of focals most in use. I use it, sometimes, even indoors, but accompanied by the external flash Canon 430EX III-RT, with really remarkable results. From time to time, I also use it for movies with more than excellent results: their viewing, on a full hd TV, is excellent. I have read several negative or mostly sufficient opinions on the performance of this goal. That's not the case with me. Maybe, I was lucky enough to find a very good specimen. Based on my experience, I recommend it without any remora. UPDATE: On 7d Mark II makes even better than on the 70d, especially on the AF side which is really great. The color yield is also much better. sent on January 05, 2019 |
