![]() | Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 25mm f/1.8 Pros: Compact size and feather weight; high resolution but above all homogeneous over the entire area even at TA; satisfactory continuous autofocus Cons: In the version with hood the decorative ring is purchased separately at a very high price. Opinion: I already had the Panaleica 25 1.4 but it must be used with care because it has a very high resolution in the center but quite degraded on the peripheral areas and you have to close at least two stops resetting the advantage of brightness; moreover, I have always found it a bit too bulky and heavy for the type of machine to which it is intended. I therefore turned to this Olympus 25 1.8 in which I found all the qualities of the Oly lenses at a more than human price. Absolutely space-saving and not heavy thanks to the polycarbonate construction that is far from cheap when used. I make few films but I was surprised by the relative fluency of operation of continuous AF, a rare commodity in this sector. As for the blurry I do not know what to say since when I need it I use the 45 which is perfect. Lens I would say mandatory. sent on July 24, 2021 |
![]() | Olympus OM-D E-M10 IV Pros: Image quality, endless menu, instinctive adjustments, excellent finishes (except for one detail), stabilization at the top. Cons: Menu with a difficult-to-understand logic (a characteristic typical of Olympus); cover cover usb sockets really miserable. Opinion: Although the body is not metallic (I have the black version) in holding it you do not have the impression of a cheap camera at all, in fact you appreciate the feather weight and grip despite the small size. I was curious to see the upgrade compared to the previous 16mp sensor and contrary to what I read in the various reviews the difference is seen in all fields; since I have practically all the fixed m4/3 optics (not even a zoom) I realized that the limits, however high, that I detected in the previous configuration were due to the sensor and not to the optics. Even the 20mm pancake that is a bit of a handyman had an appreciable increase in resolution, with the same subject photographed. Like everyone else, I have my own points of reference. Normal lighting autofocus is fast, but not so slow in harsh conditions; funny the pursuit of the face, which I will not use. The controls are immediate and comfortable, but for Olympus it is nothing new. Until now I have not found that good, high wonders for the miserable gummy door (with only one hinged side, so opening it dangling like it was detaching, and I fear that after a little opening and closing it will detach) that covers the USB type sockets one of which must be used to charge the battery on board, but which I will never use having the original charger of the previous series. Really an inexplicable little mole in front of the other excellent finishes. Would I buy it back? Of course, especially since I bought a plaster from a genius who took the body+zoom bundle in kits and resold the body: how to buy a car to keep the tires. But as long as there are people like that, I live happy. sent on June 25, 2021 |
![]() | Sigma 60mm f/2.8 DN Pros: Exceptional sharpness already TA; rnBelle finishes with great ring MF; rnPrezzo negligible compared to the benefits; Cons: L had a printed and it cost 10 times as much, the vestal virgins of the German glass masturberebbero in public from excitement. Opinion: It got used but in excellent condition; therefore we paid very little. At first sight, having made the shots randomly in internal I was a little 'disappointed, then adjust the camera came out of unexpected quality images, both at the level of landscape portraiture when you can not get close to the subject. sharp and saturated colors, AF pretty fast, weight and dimensions after all contenute.rnIl mix of the high micro-contrast and saturated colors often involves obtaining a very significant piacevole.rnNon three-dimensional effect that is "only" an f 2.8; so many noble luminous and expensive objectives are to be closed at this level to get an acceptable result. This can be used safely in TA.rnDalle photos taken so far seems to me that even the margins are worthy of the highest considerazione.rnCredo can be compared without worries excellent and appreciated 45 Olympus.rnConcludendo: a mandatory target for microquattroterzisti without the snobbish. sent on June 24, 2016 |
![]() | Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 ASPH Pros: Excellent resolution, but in addition 2.0 Cons: Vignetting and excessive softness in TA; heavy and cumbersome; Autofocus not at the top. Opinion: very conventional lens, and it also includes the weight and size (assuming that is intended to M4 / 3 system) .rnE 'the same old trick of German lenses: nominally very bright, in fact to make it bubbly must close at least to f2 .0 which cancels any advantage in terms of brightness and forces a bulky building. Also to have a resolution on the sides of the image worthy of its name must close at least until further f3.5rnIn compensation at the center resolution it is stellar, as well as the micro contrasto.rnObiettivo I purchased following the directions of the monkey but I use little. I keep saying to own it. sent on May 04, 2016 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS Pros: Size, resolution 12mm, good build quality, instant, quiet autofocus, good color rendering. Cons: resolution that degrades increasing the focal length to 32mm dark, some problems on Olympus bodies because of the stabilizer can not be reset on the body, the price a little 'on top again. Opinion: This is clearly not a professional goal, so as such should be evaluated. What interests in lenses of this kind is mainly the resolution, which does not hesitate to define surprising to 12mm even at full aperture. Unfortunately there are no miracles for the price to pay is a significant deterioration in the quality with increasing focal length. Nothing dramatic, but here the comparison is done with fixed and Oly Lumix who almost stellar resolutions. Same for the microcontrast which is more than good to 12mm and degrades as you sale.rnAutofocus silent and instantaneous at all condizione.rnCuriosa irritating and the lack of a physical button to disconnect the Mega OIS system; this is not a problem for Panasonic bodies, and instead it is for those not very recent Olympus that have their efficient stabilizer on the sensor. The solution is to cross out, the menu, the prevalence of the IS lens. This avoids troublesome overlaps even if it reduces the ability ofthe stabilizzazione.rnNormalmente around with the excellent Olympus 12mm 2.0, but sometimes I feel the need to stretch a little 'focal but I have not the time to change the lens or, more often, I have not brought anything below. Here is that this zoommettino justifies its existence. In fact, keeping it in 12mm photography in the street does not regret anything, apart from the opening 3.5, and, if necessary (and I stress only all'episodica occurrence) we can hazard a lengthening, in some cases prezioso.rnCon these premises, I would have preferred a even smaller zoom range: 12-25, for example, but gaining something in brightness and resolution to the minimum focal length. It would be synthesized as tuttofare.rnLa construction range is solid and accurate in its simplicity (it comparable in size to 20 pancakes!). In summary, when you do not know how to avoid it, especially now that is cut prices by whom, avutolo kit, if they want to undo. sent on May 04, 2016 |
![]() | Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 Pros: image quality even at TA Cons: It not named Leica Opinion: I took this lens almost reluctantly because with wide angles (though moderates like this) I never managed to quail well. Then it came, whow! all metal, possibility of diaphragm manually by simply moving the ring (virtually never used options), and then the one coming out of the camera! rnPer it short, if before I left with a third of the trunk full of equipment, and would come home without a photo taken , I realized that leaving only mounted this lens could do everything. Take a few steps forward to make it a 28mm is a moment. Very stylish metal lens hood. Then I evolved and I carry this lens mounted on Oly Epl5 + EVF and even another camera Fuji x100s with his 35mm, and I have rediscovered the joy of photographing. At 65 years. Usually we travel in two, and we often exchange the cameras. It is funny. sent on April 26, 2016 |
