Pros: Dimensions+weight of the basic project. Improvements in Image Quality thanks to the new tilt monitor sensor and recovery. Overall (silver version) beautiful.

Cons: Raw Processing function downgraded to compact mode; simplification of the menu, which is excessive for me; simplified stabilization (ON - OFF) which does not make it clear what the behavior is with stabilized lenses.

Opinion: I have had and have numerous Olympus/OM System camera bodies, but I felt the need for an e-m10 body for its combination of functional completeness, lightness and small footprint; the mark IV responds to these needs to the highest degree with an even improved stabilization, a 20 mpx sensor that compared to the previous 16 mpx has not only improved the resolution (little stuff, in itself), but above all the resistance to high ISO and a bit of all the other parameters. It has a tilting monitor, which for me, doing only photography, is a huge advantage over the articulated one; The grip has significantly improved having accentuated both the front and rear grip. There are some "cons" in my opinion. One, for me who always shoots in raw and sometimes I do development tests in the camera, is that in this camera they have modified the RAW Processing function making it the same as that of the compacts, which represents a big step backwards from many points of view. Another defect is the simplification of the Stabilization, reduced to On or Off; in this way you no longer know how to behave (and how the camera will behave) with stabilized lenses, unlike, say, the e-m10 mark II which for me remains the most mature fruit of the e-m10 project. For everything else it is a very complete and effective camera; certainly the superior models will have something more in terms of functionality, but what is called IQ (Image Quality) is certainly very high. Finally, it must be said that it is a really beautiful and practical camera, if you don't need heavy lenses you carry it around with extreme ease.

Pros: Lightweight, small, high quality... Extremely fascinating

Cons: For what it offers I found no defects, except for the lack of the USB-C port (but it is a non-defect)

Opinion: Bought used (but practically new) in kit with its 14-42 pancake in view of the trip I made to the Netherlands a few weeks ago. I have had several DSLR and Mirrorless kits, but the desire to travel light and enjoy the holiday pushed me to buy. Well... never was the choice more apt. Combined with the Leica 9-18 f/2.8 and the Leica 15 f/1.7, it is (for my way of photographing and documenting while traveling), the ideal equipment. In a handbag you carry everything you need to do everything and your back is thankful not a little. I took a couple of spare batteries, but with two I took a whole day of photographs. The lens park of the M43 system is vast and there are excellent opportunities for any focal length. The quality, always taking into account that we are talking about an M43, is remarkable and its 20mpx are more than enough to obtain excellent quality prints. Not to mention the jpeg of Olympus... Simply perfect and ready to print. And then it's damn beautiful... they stopped me on the street to see it!

Pros: Small, complete, compact and lightweight

Cons: Autofocus

Opinion: I've had so many cameras, fullframe of all brands, Fuji, etc... but this is the one that has for me the unbeatable value for money. Park Infinite lenses, difficult to catch painful 4/3 lenses. Very stabilized, raw workable (certainly with the limits of the sensor) and so many computational functions that you forget about other brands at these prices. Nera is beautiful. Highly recommended for landscapes, street and reportage. It is not tropicalized and is not made of magnesium. And what other machines at this price are?

Pros: Ergonomics, overall quality, lens availability

Cons: USB-C port is missing

Opinion: It's my first mirrorless after two Canon reflex cameras, I chose the M43 for the compactness and the (relative) cheapness of the lenses. It took me a while to adapt (especially to the electronic viewfinder) but now I can say that I am happy with the choice. I really like using it, it has all the functions I need at my fingertips, all the levers are comfortable and I find the flip-up screen very useful (much better than the Canon one that opened horizontally). The stabilizer in the bodysuit works great, the image quality for me is perfect, I especially love the colors. It is an entry level and there is certainly better, but as far as I am concerned the margins for improvement at this point are not in the kit, but in the neck :)

Pros: Lightness, portability, image quality, availability used!

Cons: Doesn't have microphone input slot, USB not Type-C

Opinion: I didn't expect so much technology and quality from an entry level machine and the Micro Four Thirds sebsor. I was amazed, like others, by the resistance to ISO even in low light conditions, then nowadays with the denoise SW, you can get photographs worthy of an APS-C reflex of not even too many years ago. (reference to my obsolete Nikon D60) Obviously the difference with a Full Frame is perceived, but the portability allows it to be used in everyday situations, without feeling the lack of the Full Frame, except for specific shots such as multi exposures at night, which in any case do not go badly at all. Unfortunately the lack of the slot for microphone input is a real flaw as well as the lack of usb-C, which forces you to buy adapters for downloading photographs on laptops with usb-c ports I have not yet exploited it 100% but overall I would say that as a Mirrorless machine for everyday life it is really a great purchase, And for this last point, the availability of used is really high, so you can buy it for very little change already including some lenses.
