L'interesse verso l'arte nelle sue svariate forme è cominciato parecchi anni fa. La passione per il disegno ed i fumetti, l'incontro con la pittura e le arti plastiche mi hanno portato per puro "caso" a scoprire quello che sarebbe poi diventato il mio più grande ispiratore, Jiri Kolar, un artista Ceco (1914-2002) che sperimentò una nuova forma di espressione artistica chiamata "Poesia Visiva", tecniche di collages alle quali mi appassionai subito.
Ho sfogliato montagne di riviste di qualsiasi tipo per trovare immagini da ritagliare e questo mi ha portato ad apprezzare la fotografia. Purtroppo il collage è un tipo d'arte che, come la pittura, necessita di solitudine e tempo, cose che mi sono venute a mancare diventando papà! Avendo comunque bisogno di esprimermi ed evadere dal quotidiano mi sono avvicinato alla fotografia.
