![]() | Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM II Pros: Optical quality Cons: Weight, footprint and price Opinion: There's not much to say about one of the best canvases on the market... Quality at all focal points, in all respects. Only "against" that I find are the considerable weight, the clutter (it's not exactly compact...) and the high price... but on the other hand quality is paid for and also deserves some sacrifice of practicality, especially to these focal points that can be left at home if not strictly necessary. sent on May 16, 2020 |
![]() | Canon RF 24-105 mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: All Cons: Price Opinion: Mounted on EOS R is fantastic: it's all done definitive for amateur use. Compact, light, sharp to all focal points, distortions and aberrations contained. I find it amazing for its sharpness (given the number of lenses) I took outdoor photos without the tripod that look made with it by how detailed they are. Stabilization and autofocus are equally exceptional. In short, this RF attack seems to have been good for the optics, I can't wait for the 16-35 mm f4 RF to come out as well... sent on May 16, 2020 |
![]() | Canon EOS R Pros: Excellent build quality, little noise at high ISO, improved dynamic range Cons: Price, new touch bar Opinion: Great room for photos, but it does very well even for videos despite the 4k crop (which I do not find as annoying as it appears on the net). The build quality is at the highest level for a camera of this price. The sensor is great and I personally really appreciated the improvements that Canon has made: great strides for ISO noise but especially for the dynamic range (for the Canon world); in fact, in photos of landscapes with many variations of light can give great satisfaction without resorting to HDR. As for the cons are obviously the high price (although I think it is quite correct given the overall quality) and the new touch bar that I find unfunctional and slow, so much so that in the R5 they will eliminate it. sent on May 16, 2020 |
