canon_28-135Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

Pros: Focal, stabilization, construction

Cons: Brightness, sharpness.

Opinion: To the touch, is robust enough, not so plasticky as ones of lesser quality, even if, the front bale, especially at long focal lengths. I used it for a few years on 30D, but also low ISO, machine on a tripod and still subject, did not give me an acceptable sharpness, the edges were always mixed and lacked detail. On APSC is a good handyman, even if the 28mm (then 45), do not offer a large field to make landscapes. Not very bright, the stabilization of the first generation helps a bit ', but many times I was not able to bring home the shot, especially with moving subjects and light just poor.

sigma_10-20_f4-5Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM

Pros: Quality, size, angle of view, price

Cons: Not excellent sharpness in the corners (at least my copy)

Opinion: Excellent lens for those who do not need extreme quality is perfect for landscape photos with a very wide angle of view and why not, even for a little portraits' original. Does not suffer much distortion. My copy is very sharp in the corners, but I was able to try other, much better than mine. For those who want to get closer to grand'angolari pushed, this lens is certainly a good alternative and is used at a reasonable price .. I used it for 3 years and gave me a lot of satisfaction! Recommended!

canon_5dCanon 5D

Pros: Full Frame sensor, excellent sharpness and file yet lightweight and ready to go. Strong body, excellent grip. Yield at high ISO.

Cons: AF and burst lenses (but is not meant for hunting or sports photos photo)

Opinion: I use it for a few months. I used a 30D and despite the 5D is older than one year, the image quality is considerably higher. As AF speed and gusts perhaps is similar to 30, but for landscape or "normal" is superb. Sharpness at the highest level and photos that make it much more obvious the three-dimensionality of open space. Also good at high ISO, up to 1600 used safely and noise, although this, very nice and not very "aggressive." For those who does not like the PP, this machine produces almost ready files that do not require strong interventions. The ergonomics is excellent, the construction and the weight make it very solid to the touch. During this period they are found at very affordable prices and for those who do not need the latest innovations such as live-view, twice as many pixels and movies ... what about ... a gem!
